Nord 1

Incoming a good result from port attack: If they use AA gun, X D (without AA fire even more). I would like to place X on BB Scharnhorst, guaranteed D and they can't send it to North Sea next impulse.
Sounds good.

Our goal, in my humble opinion, is to get as many German, and Italian ships, off the map and into the different pools. So they have to either see their fleet diminished or having to spend precious BPs on it.

At t
We have same goal [;)]

Why do you prefer Toulon for Wavell?
CW takes naval, Marseilles and Toulon are in range so that TRS can sail to port and Wavell can reorganize it. Next impulse I can send that TRS to BoB or North Sea to bring more troops cross the channel. If I send them to BoB these is a minor chance that Italy with awesome rolls can sink TRS.
Yes. [:(]

But isn't the risk for the TRS greater in Toulon? In Toulon Italy automatically finds.

If you are sending Wavell to Toulon, should France send their TRS to Marseilles at the same time? Although maybe it is wiser to wait until the German naval bomber is committed.

You can wait if you want. CW will send big fleet to North Sea, I believe NAV is going to fly there next impulse.

I can risk CW TRS in Toulon for those US entry chits if Italy declares war.

Indeed.

Then that is a plan then.

Could you, at the same time that you transport Wavell to France, send the French TRS in Beirut loaded with the INF, to Marseilles. Please send Algérie along as a escort.

Thank you.

I wonder how they plan to handle the French cruiser in the Baltic sea? Ignore it?

OK. But why escort?

Not sure, but we will see. Maybe they take naval and send ship or two to Baltic Sea?

To soak up a second result if there is a port strike.

Edit: Or be used as a 'real' escort next time the TRS sails.

This is a wise decision. Never leave Wavell on a TRS at sea when Italy is neutral. 13 build points is too much to dangle in front of Mussolini...

Nord2: To me it looks like there is a fatal flaw with the Polish setup.

Nord1 or 2?

In Nord2 I can overrun and destroy both Polish planes with ENG.

Nord 2, I don't know what I was thinking when I wrote Nord1. My bad. Maybe I was delirious by the fact that means two pilots less for CW.

Nord2

Germany takes land action.

No naval air.

Ju88 ground strikes Warsaw and Bf110 ground strikes Lodz (I get 7:1 attack to Warsaw). Ju88 lands where it starts and Bf110 land SW of Ju88 to same hex with HQ.

No rail moves.

You can start our impulse, I go play Nord1.

If your attack is going really well, it's an ambush.

Nord1:

Port strike damage options:
X D 3A
or
X D and we can choose both targets.

I prefer X (BB Scharnhorst) D (CA Graf Spee).

What do you think?

If USSR occupies East Poland while ENG is there, what happens? I think it is moved to West Poland?

Yes, closest hex.

X + D and select both targets. I would target a CA with 6 movement points instead of Graf Spee. That 6 speed is more dangerous. IMHO.
