Thanks. I started the round... still recovering from the near fatal heart attack I had when my massive troop loses popped up on the screen... after a few bottles of Vodka I felt better and realized this is Barbarossa, after all.

Still working on the round getting there... I have a question. The card you can play how often do they 'recharge'? Or are they one and done?

Some cards "recharge" at a random rate, others are one and done.

Norway's turn... Man that Soviet turn was something else. Now that's a grand strategy.

RE: 4de Triumph game
I ll have it by tomorrow been putting in hours a day... building a whole new army is slow goings for a my first time... but I'm doing my best to do a good job.
Didn't you just say this?: "At New Triumph game we are waiting for four days as well. At first Triumph game it is 13 days now and at Third Triump game we are waiting for 17 days already.
So please be patient and be careful before accusing someone here in public."
Not sure how to respond. I'm doing my best to bite my tongue...

Yeah, building whole new armies is a tough one. It does take some time, but, thats Russia for you I guess...

And this is why I get tired of playing games at ATG.

RE: 4de Triumph game
I was stalked on another game thread with this from Rufus:
"Hello guys,
I understand that you are enthusiastic starting another game. But please keep an eye on the games where you are already participating. There are two Triumph games that are running very slow and there are turns for more than ten days at dropbox now.
I dont want to start too many games and therefore want to finish one game before participating in a new one. But I get tired of waiting again and again. Had feeled at home in this community for a long time. But it turns out being frustrating more and more as games are dying due to players that have lost interest or have no idea where they are involved while running too many games at same time.
I have to admit that one reason to buy TOAW IV was that I am looking for some PBEMs that are running faster than the ones I am involved here and of which I can be sure they will be played to the end instead of being givern up due to inactivity of players."
My response was this:
FYI this is a passive aggressive attack on me. Look, I'm sure you're an awesome guy, but to say the quote below to me 2 weeks ago in defense of yourself and an attack on me, and then say what you are saying now is really laughable. I think you should find a replacement for me, as you obviously have a deep seeded grudge... I'm German too and I, at least form my family, know grudges don't die easy with the Germanic. Hand filling and adjusting, I don't know, a few hundred units and building dozens more and trying to learn the system while setting up strategies and tactics to rebuild the entire soviet army is at least double or triple the amount of work for your turn. I am thoughtful with every unit... that's just how I play. It took you from the 6th to the 12th to finish your turn, and despite your incorrect assumption I wasn't sweating you. You and I aren't here for this, brother. We are here to have fun. I'll finish my turn by tomorrow and then you can replace me. Maybe we can play another game in the future and have a more amicable time in the sun.
Rufus quote: "Have had some busy time at work. Sorry for keeping you waiting for four days.
@ Armoured Lion
There are other games that run slow as well. Four days is far below the average of other games where I am participating.
At GB1938-game27-turn-33 a player took 12 days to play his turn. Turn 34 seems to be continued after 4 days now.
At New Triumph game we are waitung for four days as well. At first Triumph game it is 13 days now and at Third Triump game we are waiting for 17 days already.
So please be patient and be careful before accusing someone here in public."
I was given the advice to hand craft my units, which I have been nearly everyone... but my turn around wasn't up to snuff as far as speed it would seem. I thought quality was important, and given Rufus' speech on time frame and patience I thought, as the top two most complex turns, that I was still in the green. I contacted Rommel with notification of why the delay. I guess I was wrong. I hold zero grudge. I have read many of Rufus' posts and he sounds like a good guy... and as a fellow German, albeit I'm a German American, he has great genes--so what is there not to like. But obviously this isn't going to work. I'll have my round for you tomorrow. Sorry to disappoint. Best of luck and wishes.

You didn't say that. You used that time frame to say to me that the time frame of your turn around was good... which I wasn't sweating you over. Look, best of luck man, really. No hard thoughts or grudges. I was swamped with a huge map and working my tail off to tailor the whole force.

And BTW the turn was in from the 29th at 7pm. So I have gone over 2 days more than your last turn... I was not nearly as pissed when I thought it was the 26th. But now that I see the time is only 2 days more than your turnaround, and twice the work...

RE: 4de Triumph game
If anyone should leave the game it is me as I am the one who complains about the slow ongoing. As I am playing USA it is easy to replace me. The player of Western Allies can take my place.
I could not know that you are already playing your turn. I saw that the turn is at dropbox for some time now and that is what happened in some other games before. These games ended due to loss of interest by the players as they had to wait too long for the next turn. But this is a matter of player in these other games. Of course you are not to blame for this! I mention these games to say why I am frustrated about a slow ongoing.
But there is something I dont understand: You need a lot of time to play the next turn in this Triumph game. Thats ok as it is a lot of work and a lot of new decisions to make, a lot to organize. But why do you want to start a new game while you are busy with the Triumph game? This is the point. This is what I am talking about.

Look this is a community of men... we hash things out. We talk straight, work it out, and make it a great community. Given your speech about patience and then ripping me about 6 days... I'm fine either way. I play with you again, or now. But I am no ones push around. I treat fairly and expect the same in return. You want peace it's there... if not it's on you.

Amen, brother... Some of my closest friends have come about after a fist fight. So we should be end up just fine. I will do my best to stay on schedule, but I'm sort of nuts and every chit has a story, and sometimes I fall into a zone over the game dreaming. This Soviet turn, with being new to me, tests my every fiber of my issues-- I'm a jackass with a good heart (least that's what I tell myself). Look Rufus, thanks for your humility... it's the greatest strength a man can have.
BTW I put my turn up in the dropbox...
