Hey Chris, glad to hear you're still with us! I'm currently nearing the end of a game against what I think was your last opponent before your unfortunate accident (Mr Kane).

Hey mate!

Cool you're still around! Yeah, had started a game vs Mr.Kane just a couple of weeks before I was knocked out, we never made it out of the very early stages unfortunately. Perhaps you're up for a rematch of our WITP (was it?) game?

Thanks for the offer but I'm going to take a break once my game with Kane ends. Besides, I still have nightmares about the ass kicking you gave me[:)] I'm sure you will have plenty of offers to be your next opponent.

Well I figured this would be a great spot to jump in and say hi to everyone. Sorry to hear about your injuries there Castor. Wow I haven't played this game in years. I can never seem to find the time. I always said if I ever went to prison or got injured, I know what I wanna do with my extra time. This is the best community of all time hands down. Well I have dusted off my game and gonna see what time I can find to play. (against AI) Someday I hope to do a PBEM. It's on my bucket list for sure. My inspiration to play again was to search YOUTUBE and see if anyone was posting. And there is~! It's also nice to see my wire chart still in use and very happy to give back in a small way.
Playing Scen 2 vs Ai currently

Thanks all for the nice words, just started a thread in the opponent wanted subforum, so if someone is willing to play one of the old timers I should be back in the game soon. [&o]

Great to hear you are back and mostly recovered. Looking forward to a new AAR out there. You probably don't remember me, but I used to be called Commander Cody before my Slitherine nickname took over.

Cheers,

I have been checking this nearly every single day since the AE release. I can't remember a day when there were
no posts or even just one.

Would love to start a PBEM, but still can't make the commitment at this time. Don't really know if I ever will. Just don't seem to have enough time on my hands. Even my AI game has crawled to a near stop lately.[:(]

CB, is it true San Antonio hospitals have your picture on their 'Do Not Admit' list? Do undertakers and morticians worship you?

Hi all,
ORIGINAL: castor troy

Hello Gentlemen!

I'm not sure if there is anybody around still remembering me, yet I've never forgot this community (which must be quite rare on the internet) nor have I forgotten this great game I've played PBEM for many many years. Several years ago
I had a severe accident riding my Ducati when a car driver thought it would be cool to enter my side of the road when I came along with quite some speed crashing into the car's side. Four months of intensive care and many months more
in hospital and rehabilitation center were needed to get somewhat back into life. Even years later I have not fully recovered from the injuries and won't ever but in the end I survived and can live on my life.

I just wanted to pop in saying hello and asking if the PBEM community still needs a "new" player and if it is worth it reinstalling the game and get into it again.

cheers
Chris

Of course I remember you!

Please take care and get well!!!

I’m relatively young and healthy, don’t ride a motorbike, but a pbem against chookboy probably isn’t worth the risk!
Currently playing my first PBEM, no house rules Scenario 1 as IJ.
