Hi Gilber,

I just sent you a private message with the password. We will start as soon as you want. Next I will play with El Condoro, as I can only engage in 2 games at a time to stay focused and concentrated...

Game over:
Ktonos(Axis)-Rannug61(Allied)

Minor Allied victory

Epic game that was exciting to the very end(1947)

Axis was in control of Leningrad, Moskva and Stalingrad as late as 1946 but Paris was in firm Allied control since 1943(?)
Kairo was never in Axis control but there was an attempt to take it.
In the end NA, Turkey, Greece, Italy, Albania,Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary was Allied or conquered. The Benelux was liberated
Berlin was never in danger and the Siegfried line was only dented. One decent breakthrough was pushed back when Germany evacuated the east.
Spain stayed neutral.

Leningrad was never taken back but that was only one turn away. The Russians never got close to Germany due to the distance. Most Axis unit were moved west in the end to hold the line.

Had the game lasted until July/August I think Berlin would have fallen but Knotos played wisely given the fact that the game ends in spring 1947

Germany had total airsuperiority in the east and killed at will, the Allies had airsuperiority in the west but had a hard time to kill units due to high German national morale and antiair units.

The US only got level 4 tanks and that made it hard to kill off the very strong Panzerforce Germany had in the west the last two years.

400+ Russian units were killed
200+ German units were killed
100+ UK units were killed
Other majors had about 50 units killed each.

Never played a game with so many deaths!

Yes. This was the most tense and epic game I have ever played in my 200+ matches. Every turn was a struggle for the both of us I gather, and it really felt like waging war.

I don't know if this tourney is still alive or not, but we agreed with Rannug that it counts for ELO anyways, so you should post it to the ELO forum as well.

So Fafnir did the game with Elveranomaslargo ever commenced? I'd be open to play maybe even both of our games at the same time, as long as the tourney is still on.
We need some clarification regarding if this is on even without Elveranomaslargo playing (eg inserting an extra player regardless of ELO standing, or playing us 3). I can play the game anyways but I would have to ask that should this tourney not ever happening the games would be friendly. Or at least one of the two.

PS. I don't know what your PM exchange was with Elveranomaslargo, and how busy he was/is but I had a friendly going on with him which I was losing and getting more turns than I could give. So if this game hasn't started yet, I have to assume that he doesn't want to play.

The game with Elveranomaslargo did not happen yet. He wanted to notify me once he's ready but he never did.
After asking 3 times I did not want to push it further.

---
update - Elveranomaslargo wants to start the game in about 8 days when he has spare time.

Ok. If anyone doesn't object, I would be open to accept into the league the first player to take his place regardless of ELO standing. Else we could agree to have the group be the three of us, with the last player normally, though I doubt this will have a 2nd season.

Mr Nnason just wrote me that he was available again. But our game just had been completed. His guess is the server must
have timed out our game as neither of us resigned. I do not know if we can recover the game somehow... Otherwise we will have to start again. Apparently he does not get my emails as his configuration reject them.

Game ended, Taifun (Allies) vs Gilber (Axis), Axis victory May 1943. Allied resigned. Great game, Gilber methodically outfought my forces. Germans unstoppable in the USSR ...

Game ended, Taifun (Allies) vs Nnason (Axis), Allies victory April 1941. Allied resigned.
We fought a long and costly French campaign and the Germans lost too many units and MPPs, so they were in no position to launch Barbarossa any time soon. Thanks Noah for the game and your time.

Taifun as Allies won against me in Aril 1941. An innovative strategy put the Axis on their proverbial ass so much so I didn't see a point in continuing. Great job. No secrets are given here as Taifun is still perfecting his strategy.

Ktnonos and all players,
In order to include these games in the ELO standings, I need to know sides and it would be nice to know when the game was finished and how.
I'll not include them until I have the games completed as of today.
Thanks,
