Yeah, on max settings you will get something like a historical result in France. Otherwise the AI gets bogged down too easily.

This little Denmark caper would not work against a human, imo. I would be going to town on the RN. You also stand a good chance of losing the corps against a human, which isn't something the British can afford early on.

In PBEM play as the allies I'd always let the Germans take Denmark, it just isn't worth contesting. Ditto Norway.

I am actually in May 1941 and the Germans are having a tough time. The only other time I tried this the Axis went wild after the fall of France. They attacked Spain and Yugoslavia and sent panzers to North Africa.

I can see the Germans are suffering from a lack of "Will"!

Yes, I am playing the July 18th, 1941 turn. The Germans are beginning to have some success, but it is so late in the day.

Still I want to learn the paths in North Africa, and see what the Germans do in Spain and the Balkans.
