Another day has passed. I'm a little worried about my pace, but supply issues, and the Soviets, are causing me lots of issues.

Interested to hear about your struggles with supply and pace. I find it nearly impossible to keep units supplied and maintain any pace.

Also I have noticed a number of HQ's in front line positions. I have always avoided this out of fear of losing the HQ. Have you experienced any HQ losses? Perhaps I have been overly cautious and need to use my HQ's on the line.

I do not like using HQs in the front line, but have done so for a couple of reasons:

1. Blocking retreat option for the Soviet units,
2. A lot of HQs have artillery or AT units that help in attacks, and
3. Keeping units close to HQs for supply purposes.

So far, I have not lost any HQs - they have been attacked, but usually retreat. This is a problem with the game mechanics - HQs should be more vulnerable overall. However, the end result is not a bad balance.

As for the struggle with supply and pace - it is a real life issue. I wish that I could control where the supply is given. So, if I had 100 supply points, could I give certain units more than others... However, that would be a very difficult mechanism to set up.

The bridges are repaired and I am pushing the Soviets back
