Vichy France is no more. The Axis take both mainland France and North Africa. So much for a ceasefire!

Meanwhile u-boats sink 5 merchants and take 3 steps damage.

This probably mean the Axis is coming for Gibraltar, which is bad news. The UK has no landing ships, so not much we can do about it.

What we can do is to use our fleet, unfortunately the British admirals are incompetent and fail to find the Italian ships, even thought they are busy unloading troops.

The entire British fleet gathers at Gibraltar. Soon the French fleet will join the Allies and we will have a truely massive flotilla.

The Soviets build 2 tank corps.

The Axis attack Yugoslavia. U-boats sink 5 merchants.

North Africa is securely in Axis hands but I don't see any moves being made against Malta or Gibraltar. However a German unit arrives at Tobruk.
We will send 2 corps and a fighter as reinforcements, and transfer our AA guns to Gibraltar.
Two carriers will be based in Egypt, two at Gibraltar.

The UK builds 3 strategic bombers for delivery end of February. I don't have much faith in this strategy but then again I've never tried it before.
The UK also builds a small corps.

The US builds an escort fighter for a total of two. We'll need them for our thousand bomber raids!

Malta is being blockaded, it's just a matter of time until the division there starves.
Two more German units appear at Tobruk - we send a further Armour to the Egpyt, it will take 3 turns for it to arrive.

The German fleet has somehow managed to sneak into the Atlantic and sinks 8 merchants. (I need to pay more attention!)
For once our Admirals (or French rather, most of the ships are French) do their job and our home fleet intercepts, almost sinking the Bismark.

We send a carrier fleet from Gibraltar home to help the hunt.

Malta is... well I don't think I've ever seen such a concentration of airpower. Honestly, if the Axis wanted to sink some ships they should have used less air units. Not going near that.

In the eastern Med one carrier is on continous patrol.

U-boats have no such problems, sinking 9 merchants and 1 escort, taking only 1 step damage. The UK is down to 155 merchants and 29 escorts.

The UK takes delivery of 3 strategic bombers. I really hope they will pay off (I have my doubts). It's been rather boring waiting for them instead of planning an invasion somewhere.
Our two tactical air groups in England are switched to Strategic Bombing training.
