Seems to have lost the screen shot but the disaster piles up lost 2 tank units and army size down to 13-1400. Retreating full speed. Have to give up a lot of land and hope that the infantry armies can stabilise but there are still 3 turns before they arrive and then they cant even move. The German army doesnt look all that big but it seems to be enough.
The UK frantically are looking for somewhere to invade but it looking well defended overall. Marocco might be doable but that is not very exciting.

In the center. Here there are not much mech units but I retreat anyway scared of some kind of encirclement from the South.

Also land in Morrocco. Dont think it will do much good but there are a couple of German div to maybe kill off and it should draw some resources. Eventually I will have to land somewhere else in the Spring summer 42.

In the east I am retreating. Abandoning Leningrad to its fate. Things looking grim.

Looking around in the Med there is a lot of garrisons missing but I lack the landing ships to do anything about it and next spring I am sure most or all will be covered.

In Morocco all the Ports are mine but the defense of Algeria is strong and I wont be able to do anything here. But I can have units in the ports that can reach an invaded port in Tunisia for example so not completely worthless. Also ties down som Axis resources.

In the east the retreat continues. With the arricval of the 11 armies the situation feels a little better but army size still too small at slightly below 1700.

Front stabilises a bit but I am not completely sure Moscow will survive and I lose a lot of territory in the North.

And my prayers were heard. Rain in the Arctic zone should save Moscow and possibly even the Soviets.
Not sure what the chance is but that was lucky.

Argh forgot to take a screenshot but it doesnt really matter because there was rain again so the frontline is basically the same. That must be very rare and very lucky for me so I am ahead in the luck with weather in the games. So except in the North the outcome is very close to historical so thats cool. Well maybe not cool but you know what I mean [:)].
So that basically ends campaign season 1941. Can still be a cold turn or 2 maybe but mostly over. I will post forces and so on first turn october.

October 10 1941, Game over.
October 10 1941.
I spoke too soon. Cold weather and the Germans broke through.
All winning streaks come to an end. I resigned here. I think the game is lost but I always play to the end normally but this time I am distracted by some RL things (good things this time) so I dont want to continue. I resigned because yes the Soviets live but the army is at 1600 size. There will be no winter Lend Lease as Murmansk is cut off. And the summer of 42 will be very bad for them. I have seen this situation before and you can barely counterattack any longer with the 5 move mech units so it feels like the summer of 42 will be onesided and the Soviets will die. Maybe a bit premature but I think I am right [:)].
Thanks to HB. Very well played. You need to play very good if you want to win against HB and I feel I did not play good enough this time. I made quite alot of mistakes and the new rules concerning the USSR I did not know how that would play out.
Major mistakes I am thinking now.
1) I let North Africa go. I think I have changed my mind and the UK should try and do what they can to save Vichy NA.
2) My build orders were not very good. Overbuilt against the subs and some other things I would change too.
3) I did not put my armies in garrison mode that might have been a big one. I dont like the lack of mobility and I felt I had always survived with the Soviets before and now with more rivers how hard could it be [:)]. Well I was wrong.
I think those are the major ones.
Thanks for the game HB, very well played!!
