On the PC, Flashpoint Campaigns: Southern Storm, Rule the Waves 3 as Italy and Europa Universalis IV as Hungary.

On the tabletop I’m soloing The Third World War: Battle for Germany - the new “Designer Edition” (a real gem). Next week I plan to start Empire of the Sun with a friend. We will assign our side randomly. Last time it was a blast but we learned by trial and error and after a while we decided to stop. This time it will be different…

Cool deal!

My Moscow 41, East Prussia 14, Grenada, Winter War, AOTR and Red Victory games ended now only to be replaced with:

The Seven Years War (two scenarios going on)
Campaign Waterloo (Quatre Bras Manoeuvre a 34 turn one)
Campaign Overland (Piedmont a 44 turn one)
Campaign Gettysburg (Historical day 1, a 44 turn one)
El Alamein (Supercharge - the 25 turn one)

Plus 3 ME 67 games going on and France 14 is on turn 10 of 14, so I'll be busy with those for a while.

You should try Second Front by Microprose, then.

CK'3 currently with the new DLC as a count of Napoli. But don't know if the times have changed from CK'2 where Jews were super advisors but now eunuch is better. Eunuch had its class definition in China. Maybe because of marketing.

Got back to Empire Deluxe Combined Edition. Even though it is close to basics, there is something of something with unit production and moving them across long distances over dozens of turns before recruits get into combat. Today I also played WarGroove. Some anime club members have it, and we play it multiplayer. Need some single player experience to learn the game better.
You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.

Napoleon's Campaigns.

One of Ageod's overlooked masterpieces because everybody said they wanted a huge "grand strategy 20 year game" whereas in fact, as Encyclopaedia Britannica pointed out - there were really a series of separate wars:

https://en.wikisource.org/wiki/1911_Enc ... _Campaigns

What? Someone wrote that in 1911 ?

I agree but sometimes Chef wants to do what he wants with experience not only what player wants. Rise of Prussia is an example. Wars of Napoleon and Taiping rebellion are those in same chef. Problem is these are not Paradox games less budget to improve AI and and less chance to improve some design choices over time for the dev. They need to move to another game.

I play zelda tears of the kingdom, it's a great game. It's an evolved version of BOTW, a lot of things are different, a lot of things are also the same.

Unfortunately, I really don't have any game which interests me ATM.

I do have a miniatures painting project. Here is a Union brigade from Warlords Games:

Re: WW2 gaming, I've got three that I am ready to begin or already started:

1. Strategic Command: WW2
What I decide to do regarding Japan will determine how I play the next game. I like to think of this as an updated/expanded computer version of Avalon Hill's 3R. I really like how the UI is laid out in this game.

2. Valor & Victory
New player here but enjoying the game a lot. This reminds me of my boardgaming days back in the 1980's. Never played, but wanted to try the AH Squad Leader games back then.

3. Combat Mission: Fortress Italy
This definitely reminds me of Close Combat. Currently in Basic Training. Upcoming DLC will be late war (Dec 1944,Bulge).

another ww2 game that I play a lot is the troop.(xcellent)
