New Aircraft at Sea

Post by Capt. Harlock »

Follow-up to JReb's question: there is also a way for CV's to get replacement aircraft at sea. Form a "Replenish" TF nearby and make sure it has CVE's and something to carry fuel (either an AO or a TK). Go to the carrier TF, and select "replenish". Assuming the Replenish TF is close enough, it will sail over to the carrier TF and transfer both fuel and replacement aircraft. For some reason no aircraft can be delivered unless fueling takes place.

This is highly useful if you want to keep an enemy base isolated.
Civil war? What does that mean? Is there any foreign war? Isn't every war fought between men, between brothers?

use for replenishment task forces is to have a fast destroyer in port, build a replenish task force of it and give it maximum reaction range and skilled naval leader ...

while having a task force in 1/2 of destroyer's speed range for it's home base You may replenish that task force and disband it instantly, so it will be some kind of teleported ...

 ??

btw, I haven't assumed that an AO is needed for aerial reinforces, must check it out ...
the more You play - the less You understand ... :p
