Not sure I can reveal too much about the game, but some of the old band from AE is back along with some new folks.
I've heard enough. I want in. If you'll have me.
I have little influence over who Matrix picks, but I let Joe know you were interested. He's probably gone to bed now (it's after 11 PM where he is) but hopefully he might be able to do something tomorrow.

I'm not sure what can be divulged about this game at present but would be really keen to know if the naval aspect of the war will be represented - and if so, will this be on an individual ship basis? Thank-you in advance.

Hey Rob, I don't think we can get into details at this time but it's based on AE to a point....GP

Hi Brian - thanks for your prompt response to this and my other non-related question. I understand you are limited as to what can be said, so I will take the last part of your response as a Yes ;) and hope that I am not being overly optimistic. The Spanish Civil War was a very interesting, complex (and tragic) episode - and despite the fact that many historians are dismissive of the naval aspect, I think there is plenty to war game in addition to the land/air side.

BTW, if anyone is interested in the naval aspect of the war, they might like to try the excellent:

The Fleet That Fought Itself (Heinz)

Unfortunately my computing skills are so pathetic that I would be more of a hindrance than a help :( - but I appreciate the offer. I will be keeping close tabs on this though and wish you all the best in getting it to release.

Is it still possible to apply? The link in the posting doesn't work and I'd be very interested.
