Mr. Frag,
Feeling an afternoon stomach virus coming on and have to leave work early today? Or are you going to lock the door of your office this afternoon for a long conference call?
Well, let us know what you think of it.

Just to really kill me, the first draft of another certain beta showed up last night. Thank god it is a holiday today!
I really like the historical writeups (last section of the guide) for the 3 campaigns. Extremely well written. This reminds me of the old days of manuals where it was a history lesson with some instructions thown in on how to play. [8D]
Tables are quite helpful, filling in the blanks of what's what and why it eats my units [:D]
Nice layout, easy to read, enough images to clearly cover the meat of the discussion points. As to how effective the material, time will tell. [:D]

Got IT!!!!!! [:D][:D][:D][:D]
Looks awesome so far!

Yep, downloaded guide via N. American site, so it is available to Europeans if you don't mind paying in $s.

What's the best way for printing it out? Anyone trying Kinko's or such?
RE: strategy guide?
Anyone recommend a good (and cheap) printer who can provide a similar service to Kinko's in the UK?

RE: strategy guide?
Hi Guys
I think we have finally fixed the issues with Digital River and the Strategy Guide. If you did order the Strategy Guide and had a problem downloading it go to www.findmyorder.com and enter your order number and password.
Once again I am sorry for any delays and hope you enjoy it.

Then think again, it is still not available for d/l from the UK/Europe e-stores, and until someone can catagorically say I'm not going to stung with import duties, et al, I'm not interested (a lie). Sorry to be so petulant, but, I guess I'm still sore over the biased RDOA rebate "debacle". [;)]

Hi Andrew
I just came from the Euro store and it listed there.

Try refreshing your cache and see if that works.

Thanks David that linked worked, although I still can't see it through the e-store -> United Kingdom -> World War II. But, if one goes through e-store -> United Kingdom -> Developer Search (panther)...[8|] go figure.
Anyway, where was I, ah yes, Introduction : How to win...

I printed my Korsun Pocket manual at Kinko's and couldn't be happier! Its spiral bound so it folds flat on any page and its full letter size pages mean you don't need a magnifying glass to read it. It cost about $5.25 for that in black and white with color cover. I'm guessing this one will be more, I'll probably get it done in color this time.
I wish all manuals came that way, but they wouldn't fit in the box and would add to much to the price. I guess giving you the option of printing it yourself is a good compromise.
RE: strategy guide?
I suppose if I were printing it, it might be worth considering color. If you are going to follow along with the battle tutorial and some of the other stuff, you are probably going to want color.

RE: strategy guide?
I went to the printers downstairs from my work to check on prices, me: "190 pages B5 color from PDF, 1 of, please". Other: "Mmmm, that will be £105 + VAT". Me: "No it won't and good day to you kind sir......".
What is this Kinko...is there an equivalent in the UK? Please.

Another option is to go to an Internet Cafe. Some have printers. You pay a small fee for their use.

That is just too funny. Thats the price of your own ink jet printer to print it in colour on high quality paper then throw the printer into the garbage.
RE: strategy guide?
I got a quote from Kwik Kopy here in Canberra, full colour on A3 sheets folded in half and "saddle stitched" (whatever that is) would be AUD195.00.
They did say that the price could be reduced by printing fewer pages in colour but I can't be bothered sorting through it to work out which ones I'd want in colour and which not.
