I'm 28 and I started at 10 with Avalon Hills "Battle of the Bulge" (1982 edition I think).

You young pup! I, too, started with the "Battle of the Bulge" . . . in 1970. (1968 edition?)

[&o][&o][&o] At last someone else who played it. My younger brother tried it but was a sore loser. Didn't you just hate it when it was ATT ENG / DEF ENG, it lasted for ever until you encircled them and wiped them out when forced to retreat.

i am 33 and all started with Sinclairs ZX Spectrum in 1982/83.... my "best" c64 game was Kampfgruppe from GG....

I had the ZX also, then the Spectrum 48k, before getting a newer Spectrum 128k +3 (+3 denoted floppy drive) . My favourite game was "Arnhem". Wasted away my 11-16 years playing that game [:D].

I'm three months shy of 46, and have been playing wargames for 35 years. I started with AH's Afrika Korps, though I had a large stable of AH games within the first year.

My nickname in Viet Nam was 'Grandpa' and when I went to a unit reunion two years ago it was strange having 50 year olds calling me Grandpa but I will be 60 at the end of this summer. I'll also be retired by then, less than 2 months to go.

56 this summer, and started with the original Gettysburg. We literally wore that game out waiting for D-Day
and U-Boat to arrive.

34. I've played games for as long as I can remember. For bookcase type wargames, I probably first played Rise and Decline of the Third Reich, or Airforce/Dauntless when I was around 8-10.

I'm 16. Started with TIE Fighter on Windows 95. [:'(]

The only non-computer "wargame" I've ever bought or played was Battletech, 4th edition. And that don't count. [:o]
