Boston fans,

I've run into quite a few die hards on line lately and you have all been classy and complementary despite playing the team that arrived on the short bus. Well, maybe that's why you're being polite.

I'm not giving up. But I am drinking Sam Adams and I might not be around long after the game is over.[;)]

If you do win, stay safe. Try to act like you've been there before. [:D]

Twins knocking off the Evil Empire and then Evil Empire II would have a bigger story. I honestly don't know which franchise I despise most, Yankees or Red Sox???

ZOOMIE I actually agree with you on something. I used to like the Red Sox when they had players like Yaz and Rice. Now they have whiney brats like Pedro and Greedy ones like Manny. I can't seem to be able to root for them even though they beat the Yankees.

Congratulations to the Red Sox and to Boston fans. It's been too long in coming. Take joy in the sweetness of victory.

And maybe it will happen again next time there's a total lunar eclipse during a world series game. [:D]

Now, if the world was fair the Lakers would have a title this year. (Who needs Shaq anyway).
