One can never predict the fickleness with which information can be received by some.
Why do companies like Microsoft and EA and publisheers of widely anticipated books like Harry Potter go to enormous lengths to coordinate a common realese date for new products?
Because they're EEEEEVIL.

I don't know why people are getting so uptight about this. I'd love to see the game available for DD today but I can wait a couple weeks. Heck, I've been waiting since last summer, what's a couple more weeks?
If I were in Matrix's shoes, I'd do exactly the same thing. Imagine it from the retailers POV. You agree to stock someone's game only to have it available for DD 2 weeks before it hits your shelves. Think that might affect sales a wee bit?
Companies like GameStop, EBGames and BestBuy fight tooth and nail to get new releases 1 day before each other.
