Koniev, the first game ended in the first week of October 41 when Savanniperkele had to resign because the Soviet army was almost completely destroyed (see post #23, page 1 of this trhead). All the following messages (after post #23) refer to the second game wich is a Camp. 42 game.

I will update the AARs with new posts as soon as Savanniperkele finds time to return his completed turn.

Yes kingtiger, the first game should have been more difficult for the Germans. I guess that my opponent was expecting a more "orthodox" strategy than the one I decided to go with. My tactics have been qualified as "barbaric". (I take it as a compliment, of course! [:D])
