Guilty as charges unfortunately my work frowns on me doing turns on their time [:D][:D][:D]

Had I known you were on holiday I would have taken my laptop with WITP and snuck off to do a turn every now and then [:D]

I will get it back to you tonight when I get home !!

no need for rush... i have boring obligations tonight like spending time with GF, drinking beers with F...etc...

Well, my family (both sides) is from the UK, though since I was born here in the US I don't really count for this poll. However, I speak English after a fashion, have family living in the UK and have been to visit several times. There's also a rumor going around that if you shake my family tree hard enough a Frenchman (Frenchwoman maybe) will fall out so perhaps that would make me 99%[;)] European or something like that.

And yet, funnily enough, the English have never owned Denmark. The reverse was true, though, wasn't it?[:'(]

Think about it. You wanted to own England but never got that far across it. On the other hand we knew there is SFA in Denmark andhave never tried ot take the place.

Germany only took it since Hitler used it as a stepping stone to get to the Ski resorts at Narvik.

Certainly is, different laws, different government system (even though they still run ours as well. The Romans built a wall to keep them out!

A brief snippet of my list:

England
Wales
Ireland
Scotland
Rest of the World
Gondwanaland
Togo
Bikini Atoll
Alpha Centauri
Pluto
Denmark
You'd think that after ruling half the world in the 19th century you English would have a better sense of geography [8|]

I suppose when you run the majority of the globe you don't worry too much about detail.....

Lietuvos Rytas= Lithuanian springs

It's on my most-favorite list. Nice place for "minesweeping". This is how croatian mines look like (disabled on the right) [:D]

Btw, Lietuvos Rytas= Lithuanian Morning (named after daily newspaper)

Great idea Pauk. It's always interesting to know just how big the WitP community is. Could we throw this open to other continents as well? Also, what about Leichenstein?

greetings...

We can open new thread for other continents but as far as i know, there is no one from Latin America and Africa. As i stated before there are few grogs from Asia and I think there are (were) two guys from Oceania - sorry i can't recall their nicknames...

Not sure what to do with Australia - perhaps it should be considered as a part of UK (they recognise British queen as supreme leader)[:D]
