You know, it occurs to me that this 'ere patch is either going to be the best thing since sliced bread or it might be a communal delusion.

If one analyses Ralph's latest posts it seems clear that he is trying to tell us something:-
Freeform. The schema is pretty simple, and I'm using a freeware library. When/if I make the jump to .Net, I'll probably add schemas. I'm glad you appreciate it, it seemed like a logical choice.

Now, the question is... You can do the same thing with embarking helos on ships... Bug or feature??

It's not extremely user friendly, but it does allow for many simple changes to be done easily in bulk by search/replace operations.

Yes.

It will be fixed in the upcoming patch.

It's a problem with a couple of the larger scenarios and 3.0.1.17. I only saw it recently posted to the support forums. If anyone runs into the problem, they can email me at ralphtrickey (at) hotmail (dot) com and I'll do all I can to help.

Welcome back! I'm glad it works, and youve gotten them converted. You might like to know that the AI has also been improved, and may be usable for your scenarios now.

Please send me the .PBL file that was sent to player 1 and the email for Player 1, and I'll try to fix it and send him a .SAL file and make sure that the units don't withdraw.

Spooky or what? [:D]

Best wishes,
I love the smell of TOAW in the morning...

Good morning from North America!
Very funny, shunwick. [:D]
I hope you're right Boonie.
Hopefully when one of them pops in they will either make us happy or burst our bubble.

EDIT: Hmmm....I just noticed that Ralph posted at 6:27am (our time)...at least he's awake...and he named the next patch .9. It must be close. :D
EDIT2: WOW! I just noticed that it was back in July that .17 came out, six months ago. My, how the time flies. :D

Right now we're trying to achieve duck alignage. The bulk of the work is done, but there are a lot of little things that hve to happen correctly to get a build out.

Seconded. [:D]
EDIT: And thanks for the update, Ralph.
Also, it's probably better to wait a week (or two, or three) for a bug-free release than get a release that causes a severe scre up with all the games we play on it that forces us to go back to the turns we played prior to the patch being released...

Curses, I'll have to think up another strategy. I know that one would work with the Kiwis that I know.[&:]
