[the Duke]...well, if we stop zigzagging, we can add another six hours to our steaming time. Commander Burke, resume our base course.

[Burke, played by Carroll O'Conner, later known as Archie Bunker]But, that would be an open invitation to submarines.

[Kirk Douglas, later known as "the man who had no idea what his lines meant"]There might be enemy submarines out there, and then, there might not be.

[the Duke]Straighten us out, Commander.
Put my faith in the people
And the people let me down.
So, I turned the other way,
And I carry on anyhow.

That's wonderfully reassuring. I'll go hide under my bed now...

What bed? (Where do you think the five inches of IJN cruiser armor came from? [:'(] )

Are you accusing Japanese sailors of only having five inches?

I figger it's the "ooh, look, we will be able to list the ships that are eligible for upgrade" feature, but I didn't want to sound pejorative.

I'm holding back before I give 'im another five inches. The first five were pretty good for awhile, but it's getting a little old now.

But, seriously, folks, if this is all that can be improved in this game, isn't it time to move on?

Yes, it is time to move on.

However, there are a few User Interface improvments that I have long wanted (for myself) and they will continue to show up whenever I get a chance to slip one in (please, no more five-inch references).

If you think this one is too much, you are really going to hate a couple of other items in 1.8.0.2.

Actually, I kinda like the extra categories on the screen. Always thought that "Aux" contained too many ship types...

Er, no...

I could ask again, but I'm sensing a little hostility. [:)]

This is what happens when I'm on holiday, I run out of real things to do, don't make me come into The Thread for something to do.
