von leebs forces continue there march east, another 7000 russians are taken prisoner!
vitebsk has fallen in the centre 20000 russian are taken prisoner .
in the south the panzers are knocking at the gates of kiev and odessa has fallen 29000 men and 344 tanks are lost on the russains side .

Well interesting point. Anyone checked this, historically as you may know AGC and 3rd Pz army was very much haltered by rains in july...

In fact the weather is other thing that goes against russians in 41 campaign. As german you are sure you will have clear until September, as russian you may have mud,snow... from october and in blizzard there are possiblities that changes the weather. I would like the end of september with a possibility of rain weather.

Rain stops military operations. But the people dies in Moscow, without food...

Two Pz korps have been sacrified (or in great danger) to cut the supply to Moscow, but after a month of assaults, was not another posibility.

Snow (God is with the Germans). Russian disaster.
Moscow falls at last. One of the two Pz korps isolated, contact with German lines. The another one, with two SS divisions, fails the break. It will be lost. Gloria to the German heros: thank to their sacrifice, Moscow has fallen.
The rail road Volokda-Tkihwin cut. Leningrad and all the Russian north front (20 armies) without supply.
The rail road Rostov-Grodzny cut, too. 5 armies without supply.

Seems the germans are doing fine. Josan and Lorenzo what is your comments about game-play so far. Do germans have it too easy in this version? Should russian defense look diffrent?

I was also wondering about russian reinforcements and new divisions. Got a feelin that they should get much more divisions than they do right now. Anyone got an opinion about that?

AFAIK Soviet commandment formed 98 new divisions during summer campaign of 1941. German intelligence expected to face ~40 new divisions. So they mistaken in 2.5 times. But they did not know that it is practicaly possible to throw to the front green and sometimes unarmed units.
Situation in WiR is different.
Total number of divisions which are ariving during first 10 weeks of war is 36. 3 of them are full strength, other 6 are ~50% of full strength. Remaining 27 divisions have 9 squads and 8 guns and need couple of monthes to become something with combat value.
On the other hand, all destroyed divisions arrive to general HQ to be reformed. Don't know for sure, but may be this is supposed to compensate lack of divisions.

Today, is a sad day. Moscow has fallen and Leningrad, Rostov and several armies out of supply.

Is very difficult for the russians stop these marauding panzer korps. Four of them are in the rail lines cutting the supply to my armies. I hope surrender in next weeks two of them and reestablish supply lines but I believe will be too late to save Leningrad.We see.

But the war still goes on and we will never surrender!!!

The entire Lutwaffe is used to supply the isolated units. I hope to save some of then. Hitler promises that Wermatch and Lutwaffe will save this heros.

the germans are moving towards novgorod in the south and velikiye luki and smolensk in the centre.

Third week of November: Snow

Fall Leningrad and Rostov, but fails the break of the two isolated Pz korps. Hitler promises that they will be saved, but with the blizzards so near, this is impossible. They will have the Iron Cross.

The German advance finish for this year.
The Pzs are at 4 hexes of Stalingrad, but only at 1 hex east of Moscow: probably, the Russians will conquer their capital in the winter counteroffensive.

Snow 11/16/41

We have avenged the loss of the cities. The panzer korps cutting the rail-line Leningrad-Vologda was surrendered with 2 pz div and 2 mot.

The other one was destroyed in the railine near Gorki compossed by the LAHSS, the Viking and 1 panzer div.

Near Rostov, in the railine to Grodny was surrendered another panzer korps with 2 pz div and 1 mot.

The soviet winter counteroffensive is near!!!

The Germans destroy the cauldron of Tihkvin, taking a lot of prisoners.
In the center, attacks without advance, to maintain the Russians in low supply.
Calm in the rest of the fronts.
Hitler thinks the victory is near, but the German soldiers feel the Russian winter without good clothes.

The russian counteroffensive begin to crumble the german lines!!!! The soviet armies are trying to encircle the strong garrison in Moscow where we are a 1 hex away.

In the south, where are the other main offensive, Rostov was taken and 2 panzer korps surrender to the victorious soviet troops <img src="rolleyes.gif" border="0">

The Afrika Korps surrender!!!!! <img src="tongue.gif" border="0">

Yes I have lost a lot of industrial resources. I dont know if I will can survive in 1942 but I have in the Urals many factories transferred and I hope this can help me <img src="rolleyes.gif" border="0">

However I think the german losses are high (and will be more when blizzard ends)not only in tanks also in squads. My losses are high too but even with the loss of Leningrad and Moscow I still have a strong army but no doubt will be a long, long summer for the soviets (again) <img src="frown.gif" border="0">
