I can think of 50 good reasons why the Allies ought not to have landed in Yugoslavia. #1 is a logistical one, and #2 is a concern that half the population might be working for the Axis.

hmmm... but then why Tito's partizans defeated Axis in the Yugoslavia alone?

In the 44 even looters from Yu weren't so stupid to colaborate with Axis (except fanatics)...

Logistical problems are another matter.....

I do not see where Rune or Smead have made any racist comment.

[:D]

Really, the dislike for the United States, and even Western Europe, here, by the misc. Balkan Bois, is based upon several reasons.

1. Bafflement on the part of outsiders, like murderous neanderthals in the Balkans for example

I hope that you, as ex-US soldiers will came here and teach us civilized fight. We seen 'yours' civilized fight on the TVs (it must be good to have TV in 1345) [:'(] and we all bow you!

Disapointment on the part of those left behind, especially in Eastern Europe, when the best and brightest emigrated to the United States, ensuring their descendents of a marvelous existence far from the miserable conditions in the old countries.

hm...not original, this was Hitler speech in '45 - the only difference between your post is that you generoulsy allowed us barbarians to stay alive, while Hitler didn not care for destiny of the Germans.[:D]

Not that I care what you did, really, but put your keyboard where your mouth is for the sake of some basic honesty.

You want him to swallow his keyboard? Sounds like a good idea...

Saying or implying that I am better than any of you just because I was born here and you were born there is RACISM.

You can always dislike me, like we -the Balkan boiz- dislike this arrogant part of the american population, but we are civilized enough not mix up one's personality with one's nationality.

We lit up their old T55s nicely though...

Is this a still from some Danish gay pr0n movie? [:D] Just look at the guy standing right of the tank! [:D][:D]

Rune mate is that you?

I think it's still "fun" that he says "we", when he wasn't there.

The Danish Army tank squadron was about the only thing UNPROFOR had to be proud of in its whole existence. They fought back when needed and sent the Bosnian Serbs scurrying away...

But Oleg please do continue suck up game with Matrix and Americans. That goes well with your image.

I will continue to be nice (or "suck up" as you say) to Americans simply because I realise morons like Smead and sven do not represent America (even if in their dreams they think they do). They represent only their moronic, ignorant closeminded selves.

That is something you obviously can't understand. [:-]

Honestly, most of the Americans I know are very nice people. Unlike you [:D]

Day is smarter than night. Look, you are right most Americans I communicate are nice people but when this things happens I tend to forget everything nice & good about America. When somebody offends me in general then I return devastating fire post haste.
I know and am aware that it is not nice and maybe not even fair towards my friends in USA. Yes, it is not fair. But in that moment I am not diplomat at all. People like him will just in fact make some things faster and that's it that we in Europe will take care to kick NATO out of Europe faster. So in fact those arrogant swines like him are working for us hehe.

Democrat controled congress hates Nixon and cuts aid to South Vietnam. That spells the end to South Vietnam and causes the eventual death of millions of civilians when the comunists take over.

Well, it is a model case of why one should never spy on political opponents. A pure own goal by Nixon.

Correction: it's a case of why one should never spy on political opponents and get caught. But then, Nixon spied on his own as well...

Old regimental honor and all that [;)]. (and unit for that matter)

Rumour has it that an M84 was lit up too. And the bosnian serbs didn´t have those, but their regular army did. But then again, that´s rumours for you.
