Interesting how the Battle of the Bismarck Sea was reported. We now know that there were 8 DDs and 8 Transports, and 4 DDs and all 8 Transports were sunk. I think the troop losses in the article are also over-estimated by about double. Still, the Allies needed the propaganda to increase morale so some exaggeration was to be expected.
