John, can you please check the starting class of Kushiro and Tokachi? They seem wrong to me. Thanks!

eDIT: Nevermind, it is correct. I guess I need another cup pf coffee for brain to wake up :S

It seems that the BTS-L files are not correct, they are the same as the BTS-H files.

If files need to be corrected, could the suffix for the George be changed from -A to -J now that they are no longer CV-capable in this mod?

BTSL is now CORRECT and sent to play-testers as well as corrected on the RA Site.

As I went through China on my BtSL turn 1, I noticed the following:

- 90th Chinese Corps starts the scenario 1 hex east of Nanyang, prepped 60 for Changchun (106,41 in Manchukuo).
- Chinese 4th Group Army starts the scenario 2 hexes from Loyang (86, 42), prepped for Tsingkiang (84, 61... 2 hexes from Pescadores, on the China coast).
- 47th Chinese Corps starts the scenario 2 hexes from Sian, also prepped for Tsingkiang. The other units belonging to 4th Army Group are prepped for Sian, though.

These may be errors.

I set the George, Frank, Tony and Sam factories to 30. Is there anything else to setup in the early part of the scenario? BTSL is the scenario that Larry and I are using....GP

Probably good with that for short- and medium-termed Fighters.

I don't want to distract from your AAR, posting here.
I have your latest version, evidently there must be some corruption on TO&E; my problem[ the Recon Kates default upgrade is to Jills; but doesn't cost anything to change to the Judy's]
G-6 [actually like the G-8 design, it would have been interesting to see if the blast damage to the full length flight deck from the 2 8" triple turrets underneath the flight deck was significant] The designed aircraft complement would have been 1930 era biplanes
G-6 787 feet at WL; beam unknown, considerably less than the Soryu, but not necessary to compute hanger ratio.
Assuming the drawings are correct a WL of 787, the dual hangers were 472 feet in length.
To convert to a full deck CV, the hangers, using the drawings and comparing them specifically to the Soryu and generally to Akagi/Kaga to determine where they would begin, you get additional 162 feet in length for dual hangers of 634 feet, basically a 33% increase.
The G-6 hangers and flight deck would have been built on top of the armored deck
The designed aircraft complement would have been for 1930 era biplanes

Hey Bearcat. Much better place for the discussion.

I use info and the drawing on Page 46 of Jentschura's Warships of the Imperial Japanese Navy, Jordan's Warships After Washington, Pawlowski's Flattops and Fledglings, and Layman's The Hybrid Warship. It is the G.6 design with all three double 8" turrets up front with the flightdeck behind.They start with 30 planes and expand to 54 once the conversion is complete. Their initial air group is 21 Z, 6 K, and 3 K-R. It upgrades to 33 Zero, 12 Val, and 9 Kate upon completion. The CAV class starts at a displacement if 17,500 T which was slightly more then Hiryu. The ships are quite rugged by Japanese standards and the only time they came back to this level of hull/deck strength was Taiho.

Your comment on the Kate-R going to Jill is a mistake on the upgrade path. I will look into that. It SHOULD be to the Judy-R. If you're right, that is a BIG catch and I appreciate it a bunch!
