This a problem?

Some of us like to occassioanally get together with our WITP brethern for a beer, and I suspect that for me that pleasure is about to go away. As are a very great many.

Actually "It is in the middile of nowhere , and that's the way Curtis LeMay wanted it". Why am I suddenly feeling nostalgic about Guam? [:(][X(]

Maybe on this subject, I should just stay "offutt"......[:D]

Three years with a possible year off for good behavior. We had thought that Lou could retire, but apparently they are giving trouble with her two years of active duty enlisted time not being "applicable" . What ever that means. [&:] So this was a bit of a surprise. [:(] I thought I only had one more move ahead of me (the one home). [X(]

Have you made the appropriate sacrifices to the gods?

I find that a young goat and a pair of chickens usually answer pretty admirably.

I do have some relatively good news.  I've been selected for LTC, which really doesn't mean much.  I can get promoted once I move into an LTC slot.  But, I've got time in grade and military and civilian education all complete so I'd get promoted once I moved into an LTC slot anyway.  Gotta love the military way. [:D]

Congratulations, Soon-to-be-LTC Mike! [:)]

Gotta find an LTC slot first. [;)] Been waiting for almost a year for one. It'll happen (or it won't)! [:D]

Congrats sir!

I'm sure you can find an LTC slot in Bolivia or the Philippines.....or are you partial to the US? [:D]

Yeah , but Omaha Nebraska? Offut AFB? [&:]

I haven't checked any maps yet , but as I recall SAC chose that as it's headquarters as it's the furthest place from water in the USA? I thought Millington Tenn was a strange place to send a sailor? [&:]

Ummm....scratch my last post....but not the post count. [:D]

Look on the bright side. At least you'll get some peace and quiet.....lots of peace and quiet.
