Which name did you chose? I can't seem to find a C1-B which is eligible but not in the DBB database already... [:)]
I red-shirted Alcoa Pathfinder [;)]. Should probably give her a withdrawal date so she can go to the Atlantic and get sunk, but heck, we gots the Alcoa Pilgrim II, and Alcoa Puritan II, so why not the Alcoa Pathfinder II too?

[ed] Ah ha, I see you found her too.

Actually, I think it's more like welcome to the State of Alabama Repeat Offender Correctional Facility and Lunatic Asylum.

Ok, fixed the infantry and 38 DivArty (about 25 entrys). Big problem is now that the recombine/device upgrade flags have been fixed, a lot of other stuff is going into the dumper. A big one for Japan is the AT guns. You got 37mm T94s, that upgrade to 47mm T01s, and 37mm T01s that don't. Now, Divisional TO&Es have just one type of AT gun in the Device list. But then you gots a gazillion subordinate units that have a mix of all 3, and depending on which one is in the DivDevice list, you are going to have a rats nest when you recombine.

Only two ways to fix this: manually vet and edit over 287 individual units to make sure that
1) every top level unit with 37mm T94s has all subordinate units with either 37mm T94s or 47mm T01s, or every top level unit with 37mm T01s has all subordinate units with nothing but 37mm T01s; or
2) tweak the upgrade paths in the Device file so the 37mm T94s upgrade to 37mm T01s which, in turn, upgrade to 47mm T01s.

As to option 1), can you say 'no frikkin way!'
As to option 2), who gives a rat's anyway. None of them were worth much, so it won't effect the game. Why the heck not?

Think that will clear up Japan, in Babes terms; stock is gonna bite the big wazoo. Says nothing about all the whillion gazillion Allied disconnects, however. These are fixable, but require large infusions of Scotch; and not virtual Scotch, but real live, look at the sun through the golden liquid, and taste the smokey essence on the back of the tongue kinda Scotch.

Two nights at the DoubleTree. She wasn't an ex-hooker, but she did dance at the noodie bar across from Grumman.[:D]

You ever been to Arizona? You gots to head up a few thousand feet before it gets green. The rest of the whole stinking State, as well as the rest of the whole stinking Southwest, is an arid, treeless, desert, plain, broken up by nothing but butes, mesas, washes, gullies, dry, powdery, horrid little alkaline flats, woof!!

Actually, I rather liked Prescott, however, I loved Oregon, Medford to Eugene and surrounding areas, the coast and the towns along the Columbia. Unfortunately, I am hopeless stuck in the Los Angeles area for life.

Hmmm... I waited until I was two years out of high school, but that was back in '69. Does that make me an Old Fart, J.G.?? or a Geezer1C.

I like coming here; it makes me feel young. I was born in 1963!! I had a older friend that had retired from three jobs after putting in 20,20 and 10 at each (he was old enough he only needed 10 to vest himself at the last one). Ergo, you dinosaurs are old enough to be both Old Fart (R) and Geezer (R)

Prescott ain't bad. Flagstaff, Pinetop, a few places in the far North East.

Oregon ain't bad either. I was a boy there, and supposedly had freckles at the time. But when we moved to Phoenix they disappeared - turned out to be rust.

The thing that really pisses me off is that you will have 20 more years or so of getting to play WITPAE (or maybe even a WITP II) while Ima pushing up the old daisies. or most likely

Boy, I sure stepped in it, didn't I.

Ok, the SW isn't that bad. I got one of my dogs from Las Cruces, NM. And there's some nice golf courses around Phoenix, if they can pay $1000 a day for water, and I seem to remember going past an ostrich ranch somewhere along the 10, and I hear there's an honest to gosh ski area up around Flagstaff (defined as at least 100 feet on at least a 10 degree slope). Never knew the SW had so many interesting things to recommend it. Like the song says:

Standing on the corner in Winslow Arizona
I'm such a fine sight to see
There's a girl, my Lord
In a flat-bed Ford
Slowing down to take a look at me

Now there just ain't that many places on God's little green earth where girls drive around in flat-bed Fords. So maybe I should give the denizens of that dessicated, alkaline, windswept, home of Apaches, tumbleweeds, and rattlesnakes, a break?

I know a lot of places around here where girls drive diesel dually pickups. :)

I am a little late to the DaBabes party and have to say that it looks to be an incredible amount of high quality work. My PBEM opponents and I are thinking about using it for our rematch game when our current game is over. Amazing stuff.

So I've gone through and made a hand written list of all of the parents and next to them the sub-units.

Then under the parents I've written down the device numbers.

I then cross check the parent to the TO&E - PROBLEM - some parent divisions don't match TO&E namely in devices 775/776 in addition to the aforementioned Sqd issue.

I then place a check under each sub-unit on the line for the device...if there is a mismatch I correct the sub unit.

In some instances I've found the parent assigned device 721 - 7.7 AAMG but the subs assigned device 722 - 13.2 AAMG.

This is going to take a while...
