United States

I can't get the US units into the war because I've run out of MPP - what a muppet...

Anyways all infantry and aircraft are now reinforced and upgraded, the Spanish and Swedes have been wined, dined and schmoozed, so next turn the

Yanks are Coming!!

United Kingdom
More of the same. The reinforcement of units in Malta is incredibly slow....

Soviet Union
The Soviets begin the research of Advanced Tanks. They buy a tactical bomber and two corps.

AI Turn

The snow hits the Soviet Union which appears to slow things up for the Axis. There was a few reductions to strength points dished out but no loss of units.

Once the Soviets are consolidating, you can reduce the convoy from UK to Murmansk - this will provide the UK with some more MPP it desperately needs. You can also adjust convoys between US and UK to your needs.

I'm a bit worried about the fact that you didn't man the fortified positions in Karelia against the Fins. It's imperative for the Soviets' survival that Leningrad doesn't fall.

I didn't think of it to be honest - but then the Finns are no more 'upgraded' than the Soviets - but I still can't beat them...

The US are being urged to invest in diplomacy with the Saudis to improve income from oil.

A decision is required from the British - do they want to set up commando units to 'set Europe ablaze'? Yes please.

AI Turn

After some respite in the last turn things have turned bad for the Soviets once again - and with the Germans across Suez, are now desperate for the British. Luga falls to the Germans and the way to Leningrad from the south is now open.

The Germans have formed an Egyptian unit following the conquest of that country and Germany constructs the Atlantic Wall.

In a case of extreme optimism never before witnessed in warfare, the Allies demand unconditional surrender by the Axis..... good luck with that.

The Italian IX Corps has established a bridgehead over the lower Don. I know this is stupid, but I am going to attempt to push the Italian infantry back over the river.

For this operation the Soviets employ the 77th and 21st Rifle Corps who will support the main attack by the 5th Shock Army.

The result fell far short of expectations. The Italian infantry remain stubbornly in place over the Don, their bridgehead intact.

Taking action anywhere else would be suicide. The North in particular looks like its about to burst open at any moment.

The Soviets buy a mechanised unit, an army and a garrison.

The cruisers of the Black Sea Fleet continue to pound away at the Germans investing Sevastopol, while the newly positioned 3rd Army seeks to keep the Germans out of the Caucasus. I reinforce the defenders of the port back up to 10.

The battle of Medjerda is almost forgotten, but was fought against highly disciplined German troops and blasted a route straight to Tunis it was a perfect infiltration battle and should be remembered as the best fought British battle of the war.

Palestine surrendered - but on the positive side the raid on St Nazaire worked and the Normandie drydock is out of action. A whooping 4 MPP were lost to Soviet subs in the Baltic.
