Re: Another Sardaukar's AAR, this time v.1128Beta
Thanks for the updated maps! Two questions:
- The maps don't show Palembang - what is its situation - operating for the Japanese or shut down by your bombers and naval interdiction?
- The naval losses don't show the IJ CAs which are the source of much of their surface combat power. How many of the 18 CAs have you sunk?

Re: Another Sardaukar's AAR, this time v.1128Beta
Palembang is strongly in hands of Allies and been so from start. Mainly because I concentrated all Dutch units in Sumatra there from start.BBfanboy wrote: Sun Jun 29, 2025 1:39 pm Thanks for the updated maps! Two questions:

Re: Another Sardaukar's AAR, this time v.1128Beta
It's not latest, I went back to michaelm's unofficial 1127 because of some problems with old map and 1128.zebrazwo wrote: Sun Jun 29, 2025 2:20 pm Lovely watching this play with the latest patch.

I have also 1128 version as separate installation, but i'll wait until I get this game over. There are still some issues with 1128, so this game is based on 1126b installation with 1127 exe and mapmod. plus I have changed some things in database, mainly about "Super-Es" (reduced ASW weapons a bit), Argonaut and more mine production.
Map is chemkid's Bellum Pacifica.

Note that this is "no holds barred" game vs. AI, to show how to beat AI easier.
Usually I set some restriction for myself when playing AI, to make game more enjoyable...not that this isn't.
Though there had been some surprises lately...mainly in China.

Re: Another Sardaukar's AAR, this time v.1128Beta
Quite surprised that the huge losses in enemy devices at Singora there were no units destroyed. Your march down the Malay Peninsula looks like the Japanese one in 1941-42 but with the players reversed.
Nice chunk of the IJA you have isolated in Loyang. Hope you can finish their destruction before the 'Doomstack' breaks the siege!

Singora had lots of airfield units but not much else.BBfanboy wrote: Mon Jun 30, 2025 1:12 pm Quite surprised that the huge losses in enemy devices at Singora there were no units destroyed. Your march down the Malay Peninsula looks like the Japanese one in 1941-42 but with the players reversed.
Nice chunk of the IJA you have isolated in Loyang. Hope you can finish their destruction before the 'Doomstack' breaks the siege!
Now, Loyang Japanese are destroyed, still worried about incoming doomstack...
And on positive side too, both CV Shokaku and CVL Ryoho are now confirmed sunk.
This means all CVs of original Kido Butai are gone.
