RE: Global War AAR in Pictures
It's really was a spoiling attack. The attack forced the allies to use air for defensive air support there instead of supporting the allies push on Tokyo. Of, risk the loss of Harkodate and the overrun of allied naval and air units there. Even with the added defensive air support, there was an 8% chance of success. Before defensive air support was added the chance was a 17% chance of success. Not great, but what else to do with those troops?ORIGINAL: Courtenay
Why the +0 attack?

Edit: With that said I do get that there isn't much Japan can do.

The USSR takes a super-combine, the USA and CW play an o-chit to double their land attack factors.

In mainland Japan, Japan still holds Kyoto and Yokohama, which the allies need for mainland Japan to surrender.

Not a good weather roll for the Japanese. A fantastic roll for the allies, however.

Turn 41. May/June 1946. Axis #3. Japan. Naval Air.
The last of Japanese military aviation, a B5N2 NAV unit, is sent out into the China Sea to cause whatever damage they can to the allies.
The NAV didn't have a chance and is shot down without mercy.
