My first comment is admittedly a negative one- you really could have won that last game against KLilly. IMO he made a major mistake in stopping too soon in '41 which allowed you to build up your forces over the winter. You had plenty of men and industry, but his summer '42 offensive absolutely killed you. The good news is that really need not happen again, and even if KLilly is going to play better this round, so will you. Putting aside the X's and O's my best suggestion is after you get the turn from him, post what you want but in cases where you have questions don't start playing until you've had a chance to post the stuff on the board so people have an opportunity to give you feedback.
Regarding gameplay, your Achilles Heel seems to be recognizing the threat of being pocketed and not reacting quickly or effectively enough. Effectively enough means specifically making sure you have the reserves ready. When I asked you in Pelton's game where your reserves were, you referred to units on the edge of the map. Needless to say, if your house is on fire and the nearest fire station is 20 miles away, you're in trouble. Think about creating at least one reserve army and also what it should be equipped with in terms of combat and support units, where it should be located, and where means in all cases on a rail line ready for immediate transport to the danger zone. Once you have that figured out, just duplicate the thought process based for how many armies you feel comfortable putting in reserve, and keeping off the front line.
On your deployments- try and keep a good amount of your tank strength in the south. The terrain in the north isn't good tank country and the MPs needed for a deliberate attack makes it much easier to get them into combat where the terrain is more open. I kept looking towards the end of the last game trying to figure out what those tank corps near Moscow would be doing, and in the end it was nothing. In Summer '42 you want them to be in a position of blunting his advance where possible.
Talk about your army Support Units. Are you putting RR construction and sappers in those, particularly where you need fortifications? Until we see a patch that nerfs them, forts are far and away the Sovet's best survival tool come '42.
Watch that you don't over commit against the Finns if/when Leningrad goes. You did a lot better the second time around and probably realized that you don't need a million men there, just enough to tie them down. There isn't enough stuff up north that will cause him to emphasize that area.
Lastly, and you have already done better with this- no letting the enemy into valuable empty cities that are unguarded. I think keeping one reserve army in and immediately around Moscow solves one potential issue.
Good luck and take it to him!
