If Z.501 can make the 3-box, then use the 0 air factor one. If not, then the SM.79 to the 2-box.

The Dutch submarines finds the Italian convoy and sinks it. (Allies 2, Axis 6)

CW stay, and then stay deep with the SUB. I assume that Italy stay as well, and do not add any new air to the sea area. If I was in error I can go back and change it.

Ground Strike (Air to Air Combat phase)

Three air battles to take place - all with German advantage - involving four German (two west of Metz) and three French fighters.

First up is the battle further west.

Allied - 6 (AA) The French abort the German bomber
Axis = 7 (AA) The German aborts the French fighter

Where does the fighter abort to?

Ground Strike (Air to Air Combat phase)

Finally we have Metz

Allied - 7 (DA) The Germans abort the fighter
Axis - 10 (DC) Effectively nothing

Obviously the Germans have no choice but to withdraw

Do the French use their AA?
