Filler Names

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

I would like to nominate my brother Carl von Bärnholdt or in-game Carl von Barnholdt. Any LW unit is fine for him.

A dear friend of our family passed away a few years ago. His name was Darold Lodge and what little we know is that he flew as a navigator in 4 engine bombers in Europe. He wouldn't talk much about his wartime experience but he did mention one day that he was training on B-29's when the war ended. My Dad also thought he had won the DFC but we are unsure on that. I would love to see his name added to the game.

Charlie W. Jordan USAAF - fighter pilot

Joseph L. Jordan - In memory of My Dad...served 27 years in the USAF...and my brother (Same Name) served 29 years and flew planes I can't mention during the 70's and 80's.  I suppose they would prefer a USAAF fighter unit.

John B. Jordan - My other brother who served 22 years USAF.  Took part in Iraq 1991 and Iraq 2003-4.  Now   retired.  USAAF fighter unit.

G. Russell Harley - Good friend and fellow gamer...USAAF fighter as well.

Paul Stokes - My uncle who fought at Pelieu and Okinawa earning Bronze Star (I think) and two purple hearts. Deceased.  Marine unit if available or USAAF fighter.

Henry Stokes - My uncle who served in ground crew European theater USAAF.  I don't know what units. Deceased.  USAAF Fighter as well.

Brian Twomey - Friend I met in Germany many years ago.  He works for BMW.  I think he would like a German FW-190 Unit if possible.

2nd. Lt Charlie W. Jordan, 33rd FG P-40F (12th AF)
Capt. Paul Stokes

Capt. Joseph L. Jordan, 33rd FG P-40F (12th AF)
Capt. Henry Stokes
2nd Lt Russell Harley

Capt. John B. Jordan, 350th FG P-39Q (12th AF)

FW. Brian Twomey, ISS FW Sorau FW 190A-6 (Reich)

(the 81st FG is going to be pulled in the 44 Campaign (it was sent to Burma), so got to thinking, it is not fair to add people to it, as they won't then be in the game if the person wants to play the 44 Campaign, so have moved them to the 33rd FG instead)

Thanks Sarge. I made a mistake. Warren Jones is the uncle of close personal friend. I assumed sense his last name was Jones that his uncle's last name was Jones as well. I told him about this site and what I requested and he and his father were very touched. My friend sheepishly informed me that his uncle's last name was Jordan not Jones. If it isn't too much trouble could you please change the entry for Capt. Warren Jones 2nd BG to Capt. Warren Jordan 2nd BG I would be thankfull. Sorry, if this caused a problem.

Could you add Charles Samar? Uncle Charles was in the 15th Air Force USAAF. He spent a bit of time in Italy during the war. Thanks
