I had the same error today loading Tracker. I had to re-downland JAVA 6 32-bit. Then remove, reinstall and point to the JAVA 32 bit the .bat file.

Worked fine after I did all of this.

Rook

Try that.

Thinking like a Gorn only made my little human head hurt.
Delete the trackerdb.* files.
Copy the pwsdll.dll file from the game folder to the WitPTracker folder.
Try running the WitPTracker.bat again.

I will try tomorrow. Your little head hurt so much because our gorn brains are so large. Unfortunately most of it is tofu and hummus.

I've found -Xmx1024m (maximum memory allocation) doesn't work very well - reduce to 640 and see if it runs then maybe go to 768.

FYI, The problem returned this morning but switching to 640 worked! Thanks! [&o]

So I get up this morning and I think I'll try loading Tracker one more time. I haven't tried reinstalling Java yet, but it works! Sorta.

So, given the error warning and the fact that I supposedly sank 3 DDs, tried reading the turn, but it says turn 1 already loaded. I check on the pilots and see 110 in general reserve so I know at least my initial orders were recieved and this is my current PBEM. Should it have loaded the combat results? wpae012 is the save my Allied opponent sent me with the combat replay attached. edit: I should rephrase that to 'from which the combat replay is generated'.

That makes me think. I immediately do a save after the combat replay is shown, under wpae014. Should I be using that as the Tracker target?

I set the properties file to go to wpae14 and restarted tracker. I got no error warning this time, though it still shows zero ships sunk. I am going to presume it is working correctly and proceed. Thanks for the help.

Starting a new game and I am getting the cannot load 32bit dll on a 64 bit machine. I knew the way around this and I have two other games running tracker going on at the moment.
What was the way around this please, 149 pages is a lot of posts to trawl!

Did you point the batch file to the Java6 executable?
OR
Did you make sure the pwsdll.dll is correct ?

HUH - Nope ... Tracker.properties should be looking at you need the game directory.
The batch file to point to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe" -Xms384m -Xmx512m -jar "WitPTracker.jar"

Is that where you have Java 6? The path needs to point to where the java.exe actually is.
Delete the trackerdb.* files.
Copy the pwsdll.dll file from the game folder to the WitPTracker folder.
Try running the WitPTracker.bat again.

Hi Damien and Floyd. Is it possible on the next version to make the top of the map window smaller?
As shown, the top part takes up a lot of room which I would like to adjust to see more of the map.
There is a lot of white space here.
