base hex... [>:] All those subs have been spotted before just sitting there. Once again I can only repeat myself: subs at base hexes or previously spotted subs are not more in danger of being attacked or hit than subs unspotted out in the wide ocean. This is my experience from thousands of turns with probably a thousand ASW attacks. If someone tells you a sub is a sitting duck in a base hex then he tells you just a myth, trying to make the game more realistic than it is...

I thought it would take longer to see the Allied bombers from Derby over Timor again. Go two messages of Mitchels failing to locate the target so I guess the strike should have been as big as the last one, with over 100 Mitchels. The defending Oscars do their best but we nearly lose one fighter on the ground for each bomber downed a2a. Around a dozen bombers turned back, some 50 dropped their bombs achieving a lousy hit rate. But 14 runway hits are enough to destroy 16 aircraft on the ground.
And just look at the amazing number of Allied bombers lost to ops once again... [8|] the high durability makes A2A better in Nikmod, but it also results in nearly no op losses for Allied bombers anymore. Those Mitchels are flying at max range and nearly all of them were damaged. [>:]
Op losses for Japanese medium bombers are the same as stock. Launch 100 of them to attack an undefended target two hexes away and you will lose 4 to ops...
