TO: ADM. NAGANO. IMPERIAL JAPANESE NAVY GENERAL STAFF CHIEF. IGHQ. TOKYO.
SUBJECT: STRATEGIC AIR ATTACK OVER EASTERN AUSTRALIA.
DATE: Feb 26th, 1942

Following your instructions to soft enemy defensive facilities over eastern coast, our 23rd Air Flotilla assets directly assembled to this HQ have launched an unsuccesfull attack over Cairns air facilities.

21 G4M1 escorted by 16 A6M2 flying from Port Moresby attacked Carins meeting with 19 P-40 fighters on CAP. In dogfighting we lost 4 A6M2 and 4 G4M1 with only 1 P-40 reported down by our pilots. No damages on airfield was reported.

SUBJECT: Chungking Special Air Ops.
DATE: Feb 27th, 1942

Last day, 59 IJA fighters escorting 48 IJA bombers strike Chungking reporting 5 manpower hits with 3.598 fires. Last day our aircrafts could not take off from Ichang due bad weather.

I must request more Ki-21-IIa/Ic level bombers to improve our task. It´s needed more Ki-27/Ki-43 Daitais/Chutais to air superiority task over Central China skies due enemy soviet-built bombers flying unescorted over our forces.

Dear Fletcher,
since weeks, the first thing I do in the morning, is to check your AAR for any news. It is fantastic how much work you put in this project.
Now you are starting again with this comments like above. I am sorry, but this forces at least me to stay out.

Hello Kaletsch2007, I am proud to heard your kind words!. Thank you very much for visits and posting.
Excuse me if the "comment from RADM Goto" disturb you. It´s not my will but only to remember I am playing with the bad guys. The ferocity and merciless of Japanese in my comments in this AAR is only to get into their close-minded thinking only in the Bushido Code like their Life(War) Code.

Thanks a lot for your post, believe me I am a peacefull pensionist with a loving family around.
best of wishes
Ramón

P.S. It´s not my will to disturb anybody with merciless or cruel "comments" from my "commanders". This is only a game, and my will its only to be close of the II world war japanese military thinks. If any moderator considers that a fault, please tell me and I will erase all of these comments. (Many militar japanese liders were hanged at end by War Crimes in the R.L. and many other were judged and emprisioned for the same.). In previous post I have take reference of gas units at China for example and this is not to despise my opponent, for the other hand an excellent person, only to remember who were the japanese militarist leaders at war.
