Finally getting round - thanks to Commander The Great War - to watching the BBC series The Great War. Just seen the first two episodes of twenty-six. Brilliant! Incredible footage of the events of almost 100 years ago.

A brilliant series.....I got the complete set through the Daily Mail a few years ago.
Grim but fascinating viewing.
