Nono, we wanted to have a fast game with played turns within a half day or so after receiving.
So far this worked mostly (with a few exceptions) VERY well.
If a player can´t do his turn the same day all he should do is to inform the others so nobody waits for the turn
or reserves time for playing.
So i have no turn yet and i´ll go in two hours = no turn from me today [:)]

And i don´t really want to play Georges turn unless he´s not available for more than one day. I couldn´t make it better than he´s
doing. It would be just to keep the fast game speed. And the speed is awesome looking at the map size and the time
consuming turns !

@Razor Sharp
Did not want to offend you, but Tom is a nightmare of a enemy. One of the best players i faced so far. Maybe the best.
That´s why i don´t want him to manage your empire and a third front against me.

No offense taken.  This game is a masterpiece, but unfortunately I suck at it.[:)]  I do enjoy the challenge of becoming better at it though.  I have learned quite a bit from this game and playing you guys.
Best to all, Arditi(formerly Razor Sharp)[:)]

Turn sent to Seille.

Some attacks from the South. They actually got higher kills since Seille moved back to some heavy woods to defend in the North. My GS in the North scooped up another 3 factories (though 1 may not hold), a city and a village.

The picture below shows the territory that GS recently conquered from the LL. Seille built quite a network of factories. He spent 544 pp on factories that I have captured.

Here is the strategic picture. The North and the South are controlled by Arditti and I. The middle is controlled by Seille and George. I have highlighted in pink areas that are likely to switch hands in the next few rounds. Most of the fronts are relatively stable and this feels pretty even at this point.

  Gentlemen,
I have just received an unsolicited invasion by Tom...my ally.  The pretext that he based this on was defense against Seille.  He asks me to "understand".  I call it imperialist ambition that will not go unchecked.  I will join the other side if they will have me.  George/Seille, I only ask that you cease attacking my nation and let me establish a credible attack against my former ally.  I have maps of his nation that I can share in return.  I only ask for revenge against Tom!! hehehahahha hehhe ho ho heeheheheheheh(maniacal, insane laugh)[:'(]
The Shattered Illusions of my Nation will not go unanswered.[;)]  Does that sound cool or what...?[:)][;)]

Just playing the turn and i noticed the overtaking of Tom at my WT front.
Overtaking i already expected last turn when i saw the GS production jumping by 30k or something.
But ok, we´ll have to live with....

Thanks again  for the updates, Tweber.  The global ones give a great overview, and the continental ones give a good sense of the operational situation of the ground campaign. The reports make this site a pleasure to visit.

Here's some Kibitz comments:

It's great to see that GS has a free and open press that lets the "little people" know the truth about the war effort.  It must be the only truly democratic nation in this war.  (Though we can see that censorship has begun to rear it's ugly head since the embedded reporters for the WT continent have received orders to no longer report actual unit locations)

The FC-GS team continues to do great job with PSYOPS.  The rumor that the feared five star general of the GS nation, Mo W. Beret, would take over temporary control of the Italian armies (FC) had definite ripple effects throughout the battlefield.

The Italian (FC) press releases continue to show tremendous grace under pressure.

From the little news that leaks out from the besieged isles, the CC forces are truly having their "finest hour".

And the world looks on to see how the LL/WT alliance will take advantage of having their interior lines of communication to strike another surprise blow.

It's fun watching the progress and reading the banter.

My elite Bersaglieri prepare for the final assault, unless they are welcomed by the other side. We will see. Training intensifies.

The Kibitz comments were written before the GS invaded the Italians.

For being a democratic nation, the GS certainly treats its alliance obligations in an interesting way.

(Maybe the news of a command change wasn't a rumour after all.  Rather, it is a sure-fire way of putting five-star general Mo. W. Beret in command of the Italian continent! This is beginning to feel like the German takeover of the Greek islands from Italy in WWII. Don't let it become another Kephalonia!)

Turn to George.
The usual stuff. Did some smaller counterattacks at the GS front.
Continued to drive back the fascists. Took several locations by both
WT and LL.

Was a fast turn for me so i was able to finish it today.
Only two hours....

Here is a shot of the controversial isthmus. I am taking up the position to try to check the WT advance.

The GS jump in production was due to capture and repair of production locations from the LL campaign and the repair of the major capital that George hit.

We neutral proles of the world remain impressed by the GS open press (and the embedded reporters are even allowed to report troop positions). We rely on GS press for all our news of the campaign (Though the Italian press has been much better with the images)

Looking at the map, the logic of GS intervention is transparent: Our guess is that GS hasn't deployed the aggressive Mo. W. "The Hammer" Beret ; rather, they they've assigned that wily maestro of tenacious defense, W. B. "Kesselring" Temore, to take command of the Isthmus.

The Italians are in a tough spot indeed.  So many questions...

Is this "invasion" just another act of PSYOPs to insert a trojan horse into the CC/LL/WT alliance?

Were the Italians just shunted aside because the GS high command wanted to insure that the half of the continent north of the Isthus does not fall?

Are the Italians going to go form a "third alliance" that defiantly stands against the two superpowers? (And risks being crushed!), or will the Italians accept the importance of the GS move and accept their "Salò Republic" status?  (And still have a chance of coming in second place as a minor ally)?

or will some secret diplomacy change the nature of this campaign once more?

The world awaits with anticipation as the campaign marches on!
