SUBJECT: LUZON CAMPAIGN REPORT
DATE: MARCH 2nd, 1942.

(1) Air warfare

Absolute air supperiority over enemy air space. Our 5th Air Division assets have launched air attacks over enemy ground positions at Bataan with 81 IJA bomber and 27 Ki-27b reporting 7 enemy casualties over Manila Defenses Bay Unit. Our fighters are supporting our ground forces with fighter-bomber payload.

(2) Ground

Our forces at ground reporting enemy fortifications were downed to size 1. In the last assault we lost 941 men vs 2.268 Phillipino/USArmy casualties reported.

Tacoblan have fallen in our hands with 552 enemy casualties (40 IJA men lost).

TO: VADM. NOBUTAKE KONDO, 2ND FLEET C-IN-C. SINGAPORE.
SUBJECT: ENEMY SHIPS ATTACKED OFF BROOME.
DATE: MARCH 2nd, 1942

Our naval search G4M1 flight reported at morning enemy shippings off Broome with no enemy CAP. At once, 36 G4M1 from Takao Ku K-1 and 4th Ku K-1 take off from Koepang heading Broome. There our pilots reported 1 torpedo hit on enemy XAK EMPIRE CONDOR. Two enemy destroyers were reported escorting enemy cargo ship. No hits were reported on enemy warships.

At afternoon more than 30 G4M1 take off from Koepang to sent to bottom enemy destroyers. Unsuccesfully air attack with no torpedo hits. Two enemy destroyers identified like ROYAL NAVY "JUPITER" CLASS.

Today, at morning, 47 IJA bombers heavily escorted by 60 KI-43/KI-44 IJA fighters have attacke enemy population at Chungking. 10 Manpower hits were reported with 9.409 fires over City.

Tomorrow our air strikes will be suspended to support our ground forces in the main road to Sian.

Our recon flights over enemy capital reported great fires over all city with great number of corpses on the streets.

SUBJECT: SIAN OFFENSIVE.
DATE: MARCH 2nd, 1942

Our Northern China Area Army and XI Army assets have launched a major offensive against enemy forces fleeing to Sian.

Our forces with light air support have reported 4.471 enemy casualties with 1.433 IJA men lost. Our three tank regiments were ordered to shock with infantry in close support for a deliberate attack.

Tomorrow all our forces will press on enemy to smash them in their withdraw to Sian. We hope heavy air support from Ichang JAAF Special detachment.

SUBJECT: Air Warfare over Burma.
DATE: MARCH 2nd, 1942


62 IJA bombers escorted by 17 Ki-43 have semashed 1st Gloucestershire Bn near Prome, reporting 97 enemy casualties. In a second air strike with 14 Ki-21 our forces reported another 35 enemy casualties from 4/8th Gurkha Bn.

2 enemy air pirates on H81A3 have been intercepted by our LRCAP Ki-43s over XV Army advanced guard. 1 Ki-43 was downed with no enemy air losses reported (?).

Enemy strike 33rd Division near Miktila with 14 Hurricanes escorting 17 RAF/RAAF bombers. Over our forces 7 Ki-43Ic intercepted them with 2 of our aircrafts downed by enemy. Ground forces reported 123 IJA casualties. LtGen Iida requesting more air close support. In this way, we have dettached one Ki-43 Daitai to Magwe after AF in this base have been repaired.

(1) Air Warfare

47 G3M2 have strike enemy 6th KNIL Regiment positions at Batavia. 1 CW-21 fighter was at CAP downing 1 G3M2. 167 enemy casualties were reported (!!)
39 IJN bombers flying from Kuching raided Batavia reporting 33 casualties from Batavia Coastal Gun Bn.
48 IJA Bombers strike Merak attacking 1st KNIL Landstorm Bn reporting 125 enemy casualties (!!)

3 enemy 139WH-3 level bombers were intercepted over Merak by 18 A6M2. 2 enemy LB were downed.

(2) Landings

III/4th I.Regiment have landing at Kalidjati

(3) Battle reports

Madioen fallen in 2nd Tank Regiment hands reporting 360 enemy casualties and Madioen B.F. destroyed.

(4) Planning.

Our forces will assault Kalidjati and Merak under heavy air cover tomorrow. 38th Division will landing tomorrow under heavy ASW-Air cover from CARDIV4. BATDIV2 will cover landings.

At Early morning AMC AWATA MARU blinker to AMC ASAKA MARU:

"Enemy at sight. A Canadian Auxiliar Merchant Cruiser sighted bearing 240, speed 18 knots, heading west. Engaged at once"

AMC AWATA MARU and AMC ASAKA MARU opened fire against enemy auxiliar cruiser at 06:49Z, near 320 nm east of Shikuka. Probably yesterday night enemy have crossed the Kuriles island barrier.

Enemy ships was engaged at 7,000 yards. 08 shell hits were reported over enemy ships, fleeing to east at 14 knots after disengaged. Our ships shadow her until afternoon, when our AMCs reached to fire range and opened fire for a second time. Another 3 shell hits were reported. Enemy ship was sighted at heavy fires and damages before disengaged due ammo shortage.

Damage Report on our ships:

AMC ASAKA MARU: 22 system, 3 flood, 9 engines, 2 fires.
AMC AWATA MARU: 14 system, 1 flood, 5 engines.

Our ships are heading west-southwest to Ominato for repairs. General quarters to all naval forces in Okhost-Northern waters to chase enemy raider.

(1) Submarine Warfare

I-1 reported 3 depth charge near misses over her from enemy destroyers near Savaii.

xAK SURADA was sunk near Colombo (Ceylon)after 3 torpedo hits by I-162.
TK MONTEBELLO was torpedoed (1 hit reported) by I-1 near Pago Pago.

Indian Ocean Sub Squadron have finished deployment.

(2) Enemy submarines activities

One submarine spotted off Balikpapan. Another more was sighted by Sapporo-Hirosaki convoy that was attacked by her unsuccesfully.

(3) ASW Attacks

DD Mishichio / DD Oshio screening BATDIV 2 reported 1 hit over oceanic submarine near Toboali.

(1) Sumatra

Tandgoengbali falls in IMPERIAL GUARDS division (-) hands. 190 dutch casualties were reported there.
Laangsa falls in IMPERIAL GUARDS division (-) hands too. Another 141 dutch casualties were reported there.
1st Raiding Regiment parachuted on Padang. 28 enemy casualties were reported...Tomorrow Padang will be in our hands.

(2) Java

1 Seaching CW-22 dutch aircraft and 3 FK.51 recon biplanes were downed over Oosthaven-Merak skies by 3rd Ku K-1 Daitai Detachment.

47 IJN bombers strike Landstorm Bn (1st) reporting 49 casualties.
09 A6M2 flying a sweep mission over Batavia from Oosthaven reported one B339 fighter downed.
13 G3M2 strike Soerabaja airfield reporting 5 runway hits. Another strike with 26 G3M2 flying from Balikpapan reported another 3 hits over runway.

Merak fallen in our hands with 372 allied casualties reported. 8th tank regiment will march to south. 38th Division (-) have landing at Merak.

Kalidjati have fallen in our hands with 295 dutch casualties reported there.

(3) Phillipines

Over Bataan 35 Ki-27 and 71 IJA bombers strike enemy ground defensive positions. Our forces assaulted enemy defenses, our ingeneers reported enemy fortifications were downed to size 0. 2.541 IJA casualties was the high prize with 1497 allied casualties reported there. Tomorrow LTGen Homma have been ordered to assault for a second time enemy positions to end with Luzon campaign and let freedom movements for our XIV ARMY ground assets.

Our forces have get a new victory against enemy group armies gathered in the main road from nanyang to sian. 8.869 enemy troops have been killed with 4.083 IJA casualties.
Our forces repoted 1462 enemy squads destroyed (!!) with only 34 IJA squads eliminated.
Tomorrow our forces will pursue enemy fleeing forces in the road to Sian. No air support will be requested due strategic operations against enemy air facilities.

(1) IJN Submarine success:

XAK MORMACMAR was torpedoed at Surface near Isle of Pines (New Caledonian) by I-20.
TK ATHELMERE was torpedoed at surface and sunk after 2 hits.
XAK BARJORA was engaged at surface at sunk by I-162 after 5 torpedo hits her 80 nm south of Trivandrum.

(2) Submarine reported:

I-175 was attacked by 2 DMS near Enderbury Island. 1 near misses was reported. Very light damages.
I-162 attacked enemy freighter XAK BANDRA but torpedo fail to detonate near Trivandrum (India)

(3) ASW Efforts

PB Kamitsu Maru reported on hit/near miss on enemy "T" Class Submarine near Toboali.
DD UMIKAZE, DD HATSUSHIMA and DD NENOHI unsuccesufully engages enemy submarine near RAbaul.
DD AKEGOMO and DD AMAGIRI pinged enemy submarine off Merak but not depth charge attack was reported.

(4) Enemy submarine activities

XAK HAKODATE MARU was torpedoed near Merak by electric USN boat. 19th ENgineer Regiment aboard (262 members rescued with 62 lost with the ship).
XAK HOKUZYU MARU was hit by one torpedo near Merak by same boat.

SUBJECT: AIR WAR REPORT OVER BURMA.

12 Hurricanes sweep over Magwe. Our combat air patrol with 7 Ki-43 Hayabusa engaged them but we lost 3 fighters with no enemy air losses reported.
24 Ki-43 escorting 60 IJA bombers strike 9/11 Sikh Bn reporting 5 casualties (?)
Over Mandalay, our 3rd AirDiv assets flying from Chiang Mai have strike enemy airfield. 8 enemy Hurricanes were met at CAP. 3 Ki-43 and 1 Hurricane were reported downed with 3 runway hits.

Tomorrow, orders have been dispatched to 3rd Air Div at Rangoon to strike massively Mandalay AF to stop enemy air activities in this area.

SUBJECT: 23rd AIR FLOTILLA RAID OVER PORT DARWIN.
DATE: MARCH 5th, 1942

Following your SECRET ORDER DISPATCH No.2 we have proceed to launch a massive air strike with 23rd Air Flotilla assets against enemy facilities at Port Darwin. Coordinated with VADM Nagumo´s 1st Air Fleet our forces have mauled enemy.

At early morning 52 G4M1 escorted by 25 A6M2 take off from Timor bearing 150 to reach Port Darwin skies. AT Cap over enemy port, 20 P39D to wellcome us. 1 A6M2 and 1 P-39 were downed in the dogfighting. In our air strike our level bombers pilots reported 1 bomb hit on XAKL PROTEUS and 1 runway hit.

Tomorrow we will follow with our raids to suppress enemy avaiability to strike our Southern flank.

FROM: VADM. CHUICHI NAGUMO, 1st AIR FLEET C-IN-C. ABOARD HIJMS KAGA. NORTHERN AUSTRALIAN WATERS.
TO: ADM. ISOROKU YAMAMOTO, COMBINED FLEET HQ. KURE.
SUBJECT: AIR RAID OVER PORT DARWIN.
DATE: MARCH 5th, 1942

Following COMBINED FLEET SECRET ORDER No.2 we have proceed to launch a massive air strike against enemy air and port facilities at Port Darwin.

At morning, 51 A6M2 escorting 130 D3A1 and 116 B5N2 take off from our carriers to strike Darwin. No enemy C.A.P. 1 B5N2 and 1 D3A1 were downed by enemy Flak. 1 P-39 was reported destroyed at ground.

Our level bomber pilots reported the following damages:

- XAKL PROTEUS, sunk after 1 bomb hit.
- SS K.X sunk after 1 bomb hit
- AVP REIGER sunk after 1 bomb hit.

- Heavy damages on Airfield (52%) and Port (26%). These data were confirmed by C5N2 recon flight from 23rd Air Flotilla flying from Koepang.

At Sea, HIJMS ZUIKAKU launched an air strike against enemy cargo ship spotted off Darwin. 7 A6M2 escorted 26 B5N2.

Enemy ship was identified like XAK EMPIRE BAXTER and sunk after 4 torpedo hits.

I AM PROUD TO ANNOUCE THE END OF LUZON CAMPAIGN. I AM INTO MY OWN TIMELINE. MY TARGET WAS TAKE LUZON BEFORE MARCH 15TH, TODAY OUR FORCES HAVE CAPTURE THE LAST ENEMY BASTION AT BATAAN, DESTROYING 32 ENEMY GROUND UNITS AND REPORTING 36.168 ENEMY CASUALTIES.

GENERAL MCARTHUR WAS NOT IN THE PRISIONER LIST. HE LIKE A COWARD WOULD BE HIDDEN LIKE A SOLDIER. WE ARE LOOKING FOR HIM TO BE JUDGE AT TOKYO BY WAR CRIMES.

THE IJA PAID WITH 740 CASUALTIES THIS PRIZE FOR OUR EMPEROR !!

14TH IJA DIVISION WILL BE TRANSFERED TO XVII ARMY HQ AT ONCE TO BE SENT TO SOUTH SEAS.

XIV ARMY MARCHING TO MANILA AND AWAITING MINESWEEPER OPS AT BATAAN-MANILA TO BE REDEPLOYED.

I MAY TO SUGGEST A PERSONAL CITATION FOR ME AFTER COMPLETE THIS LARGE CAMPAIGN INTO OUR TIMELINE !.
