I'm working on what's going to become a multi-day scenario and noticed that most of the US's conventional carriers lack the ability to replenish their escorts. The only DB entry I've seen that has it is the USS Ranger 1975. At the very least, all the post-WWII carriers should be able to refuel to starboard.
Midway Class (x2 out both sides): http://www.navsource.org/archives/05/0587533.jpg
Forrestal Class (hard to ID the ship but navsource lists it as USS Ranger) (x2 Starboard): http://www.navsource.org/archives/05/pix2/0583831.jpg
Kitty Hawk Class (looks like x2 Starboard): http://www.navsource.org/archives/05/0597528.jpg

Starting some preliminary work on a 1940s GUIK scenario. Would it be possible to add the Soviet Project 7 [aka Gnevny or Gremyashchiy] class destroyer?

Hi Paul
The notes regarding V1.09 says that the fuel issue with the YF-12 have been corrected.
Either I´m missing something or they haven´t.
The YF-12 is still guzzling fuel at a rate of almost 3000kg/m @Mach3 and 90K feet.
The SR-71 is only using 373kg/m, and they are essentially the same planes.![Image]()
Hope you have the time to correct this.
I would love to play around with the YF-12, but ATM it´s range is something like 170nm.

**This would have been posted 7 days ago but the forum anti-spam settings blocked it for no good reason.
Part 1 - bug report
I think there may be a bug in CWDB 439.
The following WW2 era subs appear to be using the electric motor profile instead of the diesel motor profile when surfaced / zero depth. (I had the DB filtered and sorted chronologically to view USN WWW2 submarines.) I tested the following subs:
SS 285 Balao (1942-54)
SS 482 Fleet Snorkle (1946)
USS Sealion (1946-1960)
GUPPY Class (1948-1957, Radar Picket)
SS 214 Gato-class (1941-54)
When I got to the SS 572 Sailfish, the diesels flank speed worked correctly when surfaced. I did not check any subs after the Sailfish.
The diesel motor altitude and speed settings may be incorrect in the DB.

Part 2 - request
This is not a complete list but I would like to request some additional platforms for the CWDB (in service circa 1944 - Leyte Gulf):

Hi Sirius
Reading a thread in the tech support forum I stumbled on a DB error.
In CWDB v.440 the UGM-27 Polaris missile carries the same payload in all three variant (3xW58 200kt).
In reality it was as follows:
The A1 variant carried 1xW47 Y1 600kt RV.
The A2 variant carried 1xW47 Y2 1,2mt RV.
The A3 variant carried 3xW58 200kt MRV.

Brainstorming some alternate history/what if the Nazis held out until 1946 or 1947/smuggled some equipment out to neo-Nazi groups in South America ideas. What might show up? These aircraft jumped out as possibilities...thanks for considering them! (Information from Wikipedia)

RE: Cold War Database 1946-1979 Platform Requests
OK, so there's some minor, minor issues with the early model E-2 aircraft. Everything seems to work OK now, so this can go on the back burner.
The E-2B:
Currently it has the AN/APS-120, when in reality it had the AN/APS-96 (legacy from the A) with improved computing power/reliability. This is important, because the AN/APS-120 has surface search capability that was not present on the E-2B. In game, the AN/APS-120 is broken and does not have the surface search ability.
The E-2C:
The E-2C needs 2 entries, one dated 1972, the other 1977. The existing entry (1768) E-2C Hawkeye Basic, 1974 should be re-dated to 1977
New Entry:
E-2C Hawkeye Basic, 1972
Replace AN/APS-125 with AN/APS-120. The AN/APS-120 should have surface search capability as well, but should maintain the early 1970s tech generation.
Add AN/ALQ-61 ELINT (from E-2B, no evidence of it being removed)

RE: Cold War Database 1946-1979 Platform Requests
Thanks Sirius!
If at all possible, could the A-32A lansen (both #2742 and #742) get their bombs? I ofcourse don't want every payload, thats ludacris but it would be nice to have the 8x 120 kg bombs, 4x 250 kg bombs and 2x 600 kg bomb OR the 2x 1000 lb bomb payloads. Also as you can see the current rocket payloads doesn't make sense either. No low caliber rockets are used and the 135 mm rockets should be 16 instead of 12 and designation m/56 instead of m/70. Also the A 32A without the radar should not be able to fire the RB 04E since it would have no way to guide it and it should have 2 RB 04E's instead of 3. "Balk GV, GH; heavy pylon for the RB04C/D ASM could only be mounted on L4 and R4. H and V meaning Left(Vänster) or Right(Höger) version of the pylon"
Making a mission with heavy use of them thats why i am asking.
If you're too busy, no worries.

Small name correction i noticed while adding pictures to CWDB, #737 should be named A 29B. (J 29B was redesignated as A 29B when serving with attack units.)
Cheers, Skjold.
