Next I want to move the 162nd Inf Div. I thought the division had enough movement points to make it all the way down to the roadblock. Halfway there I realized it didn't and panic set in. I had to come up with an alternate plan and that was to set up some kind of screen on the left side of the thrust to "protect" the flank. Bogus orders from an incompetent commander. This is an example of what not to do you guys. I need to start planning better or something.

Next I want to move the 20th Panzer Div. Strange that a journey to Minsk would start with a jogleg to the South, but that's the nature of Soviet roadblocks. The 20th division is tasked with assisting the reduction of the Soviet armoured roadblocks guarding the approaches to the city of Bialystok. Then when that's done they are to set out to Minsk post haste.

Next I want to move the 403rd Sec Div. I want them to head northeast so that they can help out with the converting of hexes to friendly hands around the roads to Riga and Leningrad.

Next I want to move the 14th Gren. Div. I want them to head South down the road and park next to the other Panzer division. There's not enough movement points to cross the river but that's the task next turn: cross the river and assult the Soviet roadblocks at Bialystok.

Next I want to move the 129th Inf Div. They are to move SW and assult, at earliest opportunity ( in this case round 5 ), the Soviet stack of stuff ( Soviet MP unit and AT gun ). After that they are to await further orders.

Next I want to move the 87th Inf Div. They are to move SW and park next to the 129th division and prepare to relieve them should the need arrise. Once the roadblock is reduced to proceed to Bialystok and await further orders.

Next I want to move the 102nd Inf Div. They are to reduce the Soviet MP unit and the AT gun. One regiment moves to cut off the route of retreat. One regiment assaults and the HQ unit fires in direct support.

Next I want to move the 221st Sec Div. They are to just sit tight and try not to be obstructionists. The HQ unit is to lend it's arty tubes in indirect fire ( tac. res. mode ).

Next I want to move the 258th Inf Div. They are to move SE to the road and prepare to relieve the divisions assulting the Soviet stack at Zambrow.

Next I want to move the 23rd Inf Div. The HQ unit and one regiment are to directly assault the Soviet stack and force it to vacate the hex. I would move one of the regiments to the NE to cut off the route of escape but in this case the river plays the ultimate surround for me and I'd rather not spend the points it would cost to move into that hex. I'd rather attack in two rounds and destroy the unit that way.

Next I want to move the 7th Inf Div. The HQ unit is to remain in tac. res. mode and two regiments are to directly assault the Soviet stack adjacent to them.

Next I want to move the 268th Inf Div. The HQ unit is to remain in tac. res. mode and one regiment is to directly assault the Soviet stack adjacent to it.

Next I want to move the 17th Inf Div. The three regiments are to spend their entire movement points moving to take up blocking positions on the West side of Bialystok to prevent the retreat to the West of the Soviet armour which will be under assault sometime in turn one.

Next I want to move the 263rd Inf Div. The division has too few movement points to fight in the third round but they're ready for the "final" round when it comes. Then they will assist in assaulting the Soviet armour unit on the road.

Next I want to move the 137th Inf Div. The division has too few movement points to fight in the third round but they're ready for the "final" round when it comes. Then they will assist in assaulting the Soviet armour unit on the road.

Next I want to move the 131st Inf Div. The division is to move up to and attempt to pin the Soviet division in place to prevent the division from blowing the bridge to the NE. To pin the Soviet unit it may be necessary to assault it and cause it to enter into "routed" status and thereby disable it from moving.

Next I want to move the 167th Inf Div. The division is to move up the road headed north as far as they can go this turn and prepare to assault the Soviet recon unit in turn 2 ( unless it's not there in turn 2 in which case further orders will be issued ).

Next I want to move the 29th Panzer Gren. Div. The division is to move up the road headed north as far as they can go this turn and prepare to assault the Soviet recon unit in turn 2.

Now I want to move the 17th Panzer Div. They are to close the gap on the pocket and trap the Soviet units. Cut off supply to the Soviets in the pocket and clear any roadblocks on the way.

So um..... hey a thought just occured to me: I have already posted a picture of the list of Soviet aircraft that still existed but I didn't indicate those that were damaged. I think it behooves the Axis air force to attack as many Soviet squadrons as possible so as to damage them and "stun" them so that they can't be flown back to relative safety. Once they are grounded they can be attacked at every opportunity and destroyed. So it's the job of the Axis air force to attack those that haven't been attacked yet so as to destroy and/or ground them.
