RE: Operation Fizbin

Post by bigred »

ORIGINAL: John 3rd

This shall now be the title of the Northern Operation in this campaign. We, thus, pay homage to what classic episode? (This is REALLY EASY!)
Fizbin.
On Beta Antares IV, they play a real game.
It's a man's game, but a little beyond you.
It requires intelligence.
Take the cards, big man.
Of course the cards on Beta Antares IV are different, but not too different.
The name of the game is called, uh ... fizzbin.
Fizzbin. It's, uh ... not too difficult.

I am CORRECTING the Operation's spelling to FIZZBIN.

"Mr Spock. What are the odds in getting a ROYAL Fizzbin?"

"I have never computed them Captain."

The opportunities for this operation name are immense:

- If the operation goes south, Operation Fizzled
- If you expand the operation, Operation Fizbang
- If you need airlift, Operation Fizzy Lifting

Love it

Oh I can go on. But it requires dredging up an old fart joke.

What are the 8 types of farts:

- The Fizz
- The Fuzz
- The FizzFuzz
- The Blast
- The Ripple Blast
- The Super Ripple Blast
- The Surprise
- The Atomic Bomb

So, if Operation Fizbin turns into a rear action, it can become Operation Fizz or Operation FizzFuzz depending on the extent of the rear action, unless it's 1945, in which it goes straight to the Atomic Bomb as that requires the largest rear action of the war.

Do or die. May your fizzbin succeed, go light on the fizzy lifting (causes integestion) and may there be no fizzfuzz with your back against the wall!

Operation Fizzbin

Post by John 3rd »

Well...that was a well-timed departure from the war and AAR! Thanks for the laughs and craziness--much appreciated.

Operation Fizzbin
We are definitely building up to major action on several fronts at the same time. I am now well into preparation for the Cold Bay assault. It will be followed by Dutch Harbor and we, thus, eliminate major elements of 12-14 Allied units. Got to suck up those squads! Considering everything lost at PH, he'll have a major drain for quite a while.

Operation ?????
Need a humerous title for the Southern/Aussie Operations.

Just grabbed Derby and Broome. Troops headed for Wyndham and I am thinking about braving the CD at Darwin due to the simple fact there is only ONE unit present.

KB moves slowly around the distant Exmouth Point. Moved 16 Emily into Derby and, perhaps, they will show me something.

My DDs leaving Broome are attacked by a squadron of A-24. All bombs are dodged easily and we bag two of the loathsome beasts.

I'm struggling with your next op name. Fizbin is a hard act to follow. I'm leaning towards Fizbout, otherwise I got nothin. I'm stealing this, kind of, from the south park episode when they gave all the kids Ritalin after diagnosing the entire school with ADD and then gave the kids the antidote which was Ritalout.

In keeping with "Operation Fizbin", how about "The Corbomite Maneuver"...

Vicberg, Fizbout does not grab me as much as Operation Corbomite. LOVE Trek! Perhaps Operation TCM? This way I won't have to spell out Corbomite. Tough word ESPECIALLY when drinking...
