I suspect there is little choice but to do a land with an Offensive Chit. Because of the lack of land units we don't need to use von Rundstedt, but might be sensible in order to re-organise aircraft too. The only target is 52,31 and the Para needs to be used.

Possible ground strike on Antwerp.

I recomend von Rundstedt fir off chit, target 52,31 and a low ods 2-1 blitz sokeoff attack on the hex west of straousburg from one hex. You get to use the reorg and get 2 chances of rolling a high result. Due to the lack of pogress its time to gamble, the risk of losses are necessary. Also there Frenche airforce Might be tempted to overextend themself...

There is the option of attacking 54,32 as well. The odds, with offensive but without air support and without paradrop, is 6.25:1. So that should be a possible venue of attacking if one of the defenders are disorganized.

So I suggest we launch a few ground strikes and select target depending on the result.

The hex West of Strasbourg is the city Metz in the Maginot line. The hex has three defenders and I doubt that 2:1 can be reached against it. Could you, perhaps, have been thinking of a different hex?

No thank you - the Alcione is too good to use as the sacrificial lamb. Of course one could argue the same of the Stukas but we have more defence capability on that hex. In fact, scrub that. Can you replace one Stuka with the Italian bomber please (provided the Para can still drop). That leaves one mission for the Germans spare.

Hopefully. But this will depend on what happens in the air - and indeed on the ground - this impulse, and how many aircraft I can reorganise at the end of the impulse.

Maybe Germany should attack both 52,31 and 54,32. With the die roll bonuses and offensive doublings I suspect that there will be decent, or good, odds on both. And disorganization isn't really an issue with the improved HQ reorganization that von Rundstedt has.

Hopefully. But this will depend on what happens in the air - and indeed on the ground - this impulse, and how many aircraft I can reorganise at the end of the impulse.

If it is released then it might be able to return later in the turn. This, of course, will depend on the development of several fronts. Strong British fighter presence in southern France has raised some concern in the Italian HQs.
