Indian Ocean
I decided to circle back with the MKB and sweep the skies over Colombo to test the Allied fighter strength there. If it is weak I could then attempt a port strike the next turn and hit the ships that seem to be harbored there. Turns out however that Colombo was pretty well defended. 25 Zeros sweep in two waves encountering 16 Hurricanes. The Zeros shoot down 8 of the Hurricanes but lose 9 of their number. I decide against further attacks on Colombo for now.
India
The 70th British Division, the 63rd Indian Brigade, the 45th Recce Regiment, the 3rd Cavalry Regiment, and a few more auxiliary forces are trapped by Imperial forces south of Ranchi. Japanese troops in India will concentrate on eliminating this pocket before continuing the advance.
China
The veteran Japanese army, victors of Chungking, arrive at Chengtu and immediately attack. Success! The Imperial flag is raised over the city as the defeated Chinese garrison is thrown out. Mobile units of the Japanese army meanwhile encircle the former Chinese Chungking garrison army at Neikiang.
