Easy money, pounded this garbage Crystal Palace team.
Should have bet my account on it.

Hi Orm

Spurs have beaten Barcelona to the signing of Lucas Bergval from Djurgarden. He any good or is it a lot of hype?

I am sorry for the delay. I have no memory of seeing him play so I had to ask a friend to refresh my memory, and check what he thought as well.

Neither of us remember him at all even though we think we have seen him in one match last season. We thought their entire team was rather bleak on that match, and that none of their players stood out. With that said, one must be fairly promising to play so many matches in such a short time at such young age in a decent team as Djurgården.

With that said, I am as always stunned that anyone is willing to pay that much money for a prospect.

Thanks for the reply. Not exactly a ringing endorsement :o The way they are talking about him over here makes him sound like the next Pele... but then if he was, why would he go to Spurs :D

I guess we will find out next season....

From what I see great clubs such as Real Madrid still not professionall enough.(Perhaps Ancelotti transactions between managers&agents money) and Arda Güler still not playing in substitude, Modriç still playing. English clubs have right to dominate.

I have a German mate who won't be happy. They had their chances but didn't take them. A brilliant header and then a defensive mistake finished them.

Time to congratulate Real madrid and Ancelotti. But great concerns about Aston Villa(4th in Premier League last time I look) eliminated by Olympiakos in UEFA Europa Conference League with decisive score. Does the football industry budget generate enough money for international competition. Or the regional (European) competitions only for prestige. This doesn't sound very healty. Premier League if has 600 million viewers in world. Then I think it is less about football to hate or like more about finance and priority for goals.

Hi Piteas - congratulations to Madrid. They were second best in the final but, as all good teams do, they found a way to win by being clinical when it mattered. But Vinicius should have gone with a second yellow they ignored……. But I’m not bitter 😀

…….and on a positive note, better to lose to Madrid than Bayern - that would have been tougher to take.

'Political Porn' has started in 1978 during Junta Argentina World Cup. Anyway.

https://www.france24.com/en/20180927-ge ... urkey-uefa

"Turkey proposed its strongest bid yet with eight of 10 stadiums already completed, yet was likely to struggle in the first UEFA hosting vote with a human rights assessment." I think Germany deserved it not because of stadiums with technology but with fans all over stadiums. Advertisement for hosting Euro 2024 was that in the past.

I wonder why BVB's stadium is stated as a capacity in the 60,000's? Their capacity is over 80,000. Maybe UEFA has limited it for the tounament?

The Euro's start tonight. Come on Scotland - let's see if you can make it out of the group stages at a major finals for the first time ever - and in the process beat the Germans :D

I'm going (and hoping) for a sneaky 0-1 to Scotland.... but I could be a little optimistic here :o
