Turn 34 Army Group South
Plenty of Soviet action this turn, but little to show for it. The blizzard continues and it feels like the Soviets are getting desperate in their attacks but the Germans are defending nicely. Plenty of artillery and rockets pound the Soviets in the bitter cold.
The European zone turns to snow this turn and the Axis begin to plan their next attack in the Crimea. Ak'Manay will be first, Sevastopol will have to wait until clear weather.

Turn 35 18-February-1942 Air
The Soviet air force opens with airfield bombing which continues to target our storks.
This turn we start bombing their airfields too. No Soviet fighters attempted an interception.
Finally some I-153 were posted to the airfields in the north - our recon shows they will not fly either. So our Finnish bombers build up their kill totals and morale/experience levels.
So long as freebies are being given, we will keep taking. Losses for the turn:-

I have to point out, the freebies here are courtesy of the AI. The I-153s that were bombed had some regiments on day and others night missions. Air doctrine is not an issue, nor is it recon spam, the planes just don't fly. I've believed for some time there is an issue with Soviet planes flying in the north, and this example does not change my opinion.
