Port Moresby secured in the evening. Not much of a defense. The airfield is 50% cleared during the
day. I expect air raids shortly. The lone xAP still burns, beached on the sand. She still holds some
400pts of supply should she survive.

The task forces should be clear far to the south.

Do you have HI in Australia operating or turned off? If you have plenty of fuel there I see no reason to have it turned off. Sounds like you could use the supply it will produce and the HI points may help with producing new aircraft in Oz. Beaufighters are a nice change from Wirraways!

No lie (in response to Tony) I have OK supply in Oz, fuel is another story. With so many subs operating out of SwPac and SoPac, fuel goes fast. Not to mention Force Z and some of the fast carriers can really gobble up the rest. I have delivered oil from the middle east and supply from the US so regular supply is good. The fuel pipe line is moving smoothly with little interruption but it is a long haul. I am using way points for transferring fuel a little quicker but it will be six months before stocks become irrelevant. I got a turn yesterday, first since last Sunday and Francois is indeed very busy with the new job. I sent back this morning as it was an easy one to get out. (in response to Jim). I hope before new years (GT) I can shift the initiative enough to unbalance the IJ and make quick progress.

American PBYs at night with torpedoes might be able to get at IJN air craft carriers . . .

Then with S boats and Dutch subs on the way back to get repaired . . .

Unfortunately I have zero PBY squadrons trained in any form of naval attack. I can see where it can certainly be beneficial at points
in the game. I always feel I do not have the desired naval search coverage ergo I always have them trained and on search missions.
I also have do not have any torpedos forward at this point, although I do have AVs up front.....hmmmm
