That is why it might be best to go to page 2 or 3 which also eliminates the first ones which are actually ads. Of course, you can use a different search engine that may not be manipulated by such trickery.

Hello?
I heard you. May it continue Till 1002
Well, I'll do my bit, but only to post 1000. Then a mod closes it in the best way possible: by recognizing any contribution beyond that point as superfluous spam. But until that point, it's gold. [:)]

Isn't it a bit arbitrary to only continue to 1000? Who decided on that number? And why not 9521478562 instead? It is just as good a number. What if the world had decided to end after a 1000?ORIGINAL: Chickenboy

Objection noted. We will randomly generate a stopping number and let everyone know when it is reached. Kind of like the Mayan calendar that ended in 2012.ORIGINAL: Orm

Except that their calendar didn't really end in 2012. It just ended that cycle. And they hadn't bothered to complete the next cycle at that point. I suppose they figured they had some time to do it before it was needed. Their calendar cycles stretches to year 4772. Quite a bit into the future. And I suppose that they would just create a new cycle at that point.ORIGINAL: Zorch
