Pretty sure someone is playing with their pet rat here... it seems quite alive (eyes are open and not clouded)...

My nieces and nephews had a wonderful pet rat, but alas, it died... they replaced it and the new one was MEAN!! [X(] [:D]

AFAIK - not in Manilla...

Unfortunately no he wasn't. I replaced him with a better general (that will go nameless) and forgot to switch them when the end was near.
