Now he's for sure adding back the frames to his sentais...but i hope most of his planes won't be ready for tomorrow morning...

Probably not many. None will fly from that base and all the damaged planes will need to be railed to another base. He will have some left but his bombers will have incredibly low morale and that will really hurt them. A bombing like that can drop morale into the 40s or worse. Low morale will keep some of those planes from launching.

That would be amazing! However guys...tomorrow we'll be landing at the selected site. The day of truth has finally arrived. We expect naval battles, air battles an epic land campaign...

Now watch those aircraft being scatterd to the four winds, with the attendant loss of co-ordination.

New HR from rader, you just cant!

I know its a month too late to arrange, but it would be interesting to have a large group of TF amoving past Wake on a course for some other target.[:'(]

Given the last week of action I cannot help but think of that scene in the Movie The Warriors "Warriors -- Come out to play!" Except the USAAF is somewhat baiting the IJAAF ..[:D]

Yeah. no way it's Hachinohe. It wouldn't be dramatic enough! [:)]

10 to 1 Hachinohe

7 to 1 Ominato

6 to 1 Hirosake/Aomori

5 to 1 Akita

3 to 1 Niigata

2 to 1 Sendai

2 to 1 Iwaki

My guess is Sendai. Lots of clear around there.

I'm going for the long shot, Hachinohe.

I've been thinking about it and it might just be better with the two day turns to come in with the invasion on the second day so he could make adjustments after the first day of unload. Just an idea.

Think how much worse it would have been for Japan if GJ's bomber's hadn't met a heavy rainstorm over Tokyo for 2 days running!

Wow! Over 2,700 airframes lost in a single day! That's gotta really hurt.

OT: What time is it in Italy?

Ok guys....turn sent...in Italy it's nearly 3 a.m.... my eyes are closing...

Was a difficult turn with lots of important choices to make...
Weather is mixed for tomorrow...but we cannot have the priviledge to wait any longer as the allies did in Normandy...we have to act. Now.

The Combined fleet left Tokyo Harbour today...BBs and CAs are spotted...

Tomorrow battles will be decisive to say the least...

The whole allied air army (what is left after yesterday raid) will attack and the whole allied fleet will join the party.
The first amphibious army is ready...tomorrow we'll see how much the CD guns hurt...

Can't wait...but also have to confess that i'm really scared...

CAP, weather, altitude, dice and rolls, morale, fatigue, leadership...a single man cannot controll all these variables...Hopefully Gods of War will help me check them all...

Night gents...been a great day for our colours...

See you on the morrow.

2700 Destroyed, plus lord knows how many damaged & won't be flying. At minimum, it'll take a few days to recover, which show allow the window for the landings - the anticipation is killing me!
