Why would he re-invent himself?

There is a possibility that the forum software won't let it happen... i don't know that i've seen anyone that has been successfully reinstated... perhaps it has happened, but i just don't know about it.

Also, if he decides to come back without asking for reinstatement, he could (maybe) by just getting a new screen name.

But IP addresses can be monitored and blocked - so it is possible to prevent banned persons from getting back on at least with the same IP address.

True - i think they booted the various incarnations of Lt. Calley off many times using that...

Nah he was tougher .. he was generating a new IP address for each incarnation ... he had to be killed one by one ... if the IP address is blocked the person can't see the server - can't get into the ball park ...
