For the moment, we'll probably hold what we have on Borneo. The bases that can be reached easily overland aren't worth stringing my units out.

This was a daft piece of luck on my part. Three destroyers, previously on ASW duty off Tarakan, were on their way back to their home base when they stumbled over these five transports.

That's a lot of tankers... all in the same stack? And with no escorts? Unbelievable. I know it's the best way to protect against subs but subs aren't the only fish in the water...

Yes I should have had some DDS. I have gone from having a severe shortage of TKs to more than you would ever need.

These were on their way back to LA having made a successful delivery to PH[:D]

Likely he may stumble on some similar TFs[;)]

I guess there was no need to aim too much - "Fire in that general direction and we're bound to hit something" [:D]

Post by Bill Durrant »

Well things have been pretty quiet in the last few days as we lick our wounds and get rid of sys damage caused by upgrades to AKs.

Some fighting has occured at Luda near Port Arthur with the town changing hands twice. Strange thing is when I recaptured it the icon changed to Far East Command as did Port Arthur - thread posted in Support section.
